QB rating? Really?

I bet the Colts were wishing they had Bilgewater instead of Luck last week when they played Dallas. Rumor has it Denver is looking to trade Manning for Bilgewater too. Hard to ignore that December QB rating...

LOL.

No, I think those teams are wishing they had the guy on the very bottom of the list.

Why is teddy in there twice?

Payton manning is at the bottom of your list so obviously that means teddy is better than Manning. crazy

Who's Payton? I thought you were the spelling police?

Teddy has better stats then Peyton Manning this month, they were talking about the month of December not overall.

Would you like a better stat than QBR? Because if you go yards/attempt he's tied with Roethlisberger at #1 for the month.

Which Bridgewater on there are you referring to?

I believe in an early post he said that he adjusted his stats by removing the two tipped int's. Either way teddy is in the top ten which for a rookie, with not a whole lot of talent around him is pretty decent in my book. Im not ready to throw him in the Hall of fame yet, but ill take it.

There are 2 bridgewaters on that list, but hey, don't bother reading it to figure that out.
Are you sure? Lol

What does it say next to one of them? What was the argument posed a handful of posts earlier about a tipped INT and an end of half "meaningless" INT and its impact on his QBR? Follow along yet?

I removed the hail mary interception and the off Asiata's hands interception for the adjusted rating. I left the original rating on there as well to show even with those counting against him he was still near the top. True to form today Patterson also helped Teddy out by giving up another tipped INT.

I'm sure none of those other QB's had negative plays which were "not their fault", right? If you're going to adjust one player, adjust them all. But then again, that would be purely subjective which only further flaws the argument and brings us back to the original point that this exercise has been a complete joke from the beginning.

Besides, if we aren't supposed to judge a rookie when they do bad, why shouldn't the same standard apply when they do well?

Hypocrites and Frauds.

OK Limit.

Since you know more than everyone else lets hear your post season analysis of the rookie quarterbacks. Gotta hurry though while JF still has a job. sick

You did so well rating them before the draft.

Based on what you know now, how do you rate them?

Pro Football Focus seems to be pretty high on Teddy too:

Quote:
Bridgewater also completed 82.4 percent of his passes while under pressure, the highest figure in the league this season. (per @PFF)

#Vikings RT @PFF_Sam: @SI_DougFarrar Final 5 weeks of the season only QB with a higher PFF grade than Teddy is Aaron Rodgers.

I don't know which is more funny, LMIT laughing about Teddy's 112.4 QB rating for the month or his guy Foosball at the bottom with a 29.7 QB rating? grin

Or you thinking that Teddy had a 112.4 QB rating. "Adjusted" rating means nothing.

ROTLMMFAO, here comes BigDave to LMITs defense again!!

I really miss you guys quoting each other saying "atleast someone gets it", giving each other high fives, posting GIFs and Highlights of Foosball while comparing him to every great QB that has played the game.

Toward the end you had to change it to all Foosball has to do is be better then Teddy. Now that Teddy has clearly smoked him in the 1st year all you have to fall back on is nit picking Teddy's stats.

I found Teddy's, Thankfully I told you their discussion was about QB rating for the month of December and not for the season. That gave you the idea to try and grasp for more ammo.

According to that chart, though, Matt Hasselbeck, Logan Thomas, Derek Anderson and a slew of others are "better" QBs than Brady, Brees, Luck, and Manning... You HAVE to take everything into consideration like QB attempts (remove those with only a handful and you lose the scrubs above), strength of opponent, weapons available (practically none for us), o-line consistency (deplorable), etc., in addition to regular metrics. It's far from an exact science, but when you look at intangibles in addition to stats you are better suited to decide if you are moving in the right direction with the guy under center. I believe we are. With a rookie, more than any other year class, you have to look at "what have you done for me lately," and all Teddy did was have the best month of December of any QB in many key areas. Is he superstar QB? Not even close, but he did some AWESOME things as a rookie. He had some growing pains, too, but I am really happy about how he developed...he literally showed growth every week. I can't see how that fact can be argued? Does anyone really think he still resembles Ponder? Give Ponder this horrific O-line and no AP and see how he does. Oh, wait, we did... Green Bay 42, Vikes 10.
