First Bow Kill!

Hey Guys, Just wanted to share my first bow kill! I told myself I wasn't going to shoot a Jake on my first morning but this one came in perfect and I couldn't resist. I got my bow earlier this year and limited myself to the 20 pin and he came in right there, I put a good shot on him and he ran about 50 yards and piled up. This jake fan will be going on the wall! Third pic is a dominant hen (left) that tried to show my DSD hen(right) who was boss, pecked at the eyes and spun it around on the stake a couple times before moving on right before the jakes came in.

Nice! I actually called for my uncle on the last day of season B and we had 2 different hens come in and the second one went right up to the DSD hen decoy I had out too and got like 2 inches away doing a half fan of her tail, getting mad too! LOL

Awesome bow kill,I have yet to pass one that has given me a shot with the bow. If it has a visible beard it get's a arrow. So don't look down on yourself and say it was just a jake, you killed a turkey with archery equipment and it's not easy.I'm still kicking myself for grabbing the gun this year after 13 years of archery hunting for them.

Great trophy and that fan will look awesome on the wall.
