Nate McVey
Win is a win! Glad to see the running game get going. Defense still scares me, luckily the Packers played a team with an inept offense (with the exception of AP). Can't wait to hear all the excuses from the Purple Kool Aid drinkers........GO PACK GO! 96trigger
Judging by the pregame score predictions, I don't know why you would think there should be excuses. The vikes lost because they are not good. Without AP, this team might be the worst in the league right now. The 1st 6 games are looking more and more like a fluke. I'm not giving the pack a lot of credit either. They certainly didn't look great, but, a win is a win. Would have been nice if the vikes had gotten it. Scott K
What I actually took from this game was, how awful the Packers actually are. If they let the Vikings stay in this game, that doesnt say much for their team.

Stratosman
Favorite stat.. only 3rd time in history a team has lost with a 200 yard rusher. What this tells me is that our QB is so inept that he cannot even win a gimmie game. In all seriousness, is there another QB that is worse than Ponder? Not sure if I can think of one. Defense is still terrible and getting worse. GIving up te longest drive time wise in the NFL this year... wow. IT's getting hard to watch. I think the excuses of Ponder being new and still learning... not buying it anymore. THere are QB's that get it done with less. Wilson, Kaepernick, Luck, RG... No longer buying into that, I am buying into the fact that Ponder is terrible however. They need to start WEbb. But I'm sure that won't as it admits another draft failure. zepman
I don't think I've ever seen a worse game played by a QB...ever.They have failed miserably at finding a QB...again.I heard Alex Smith might be available...I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall where ever Percy watched the game today...that would have been entertaining. JAfish
Poor play calling too. Why pass with 3rd qtr lead? Even if passing game would have been playing well- it made no sense to pass the way the running game was wearing on the Packers. Maybe Spielman and Frazier decided it was Ponders' time to prove the Vikes organization wrong by throwing the ball and winning at Lambeau. Ponder looks like a bust- Should be able to throw with the #1 rusher in the league keeping defenses key the run ALL DAY.
fishersofmen
1st completion to a wide receiver with 3 minutes left in the game!! After 23 games has Ponder improved his game?As bad as things seem right now this team is a couple of players away from being a decent (or better) playoff team. If we had a solid qb playing today and a healthy Harvin plus add another good receiver we could have easily won the game and others. Feel bad for Adrian he would be a lock for MVP if we were a playoff team IMO. They asked Leslie after the game if a qb change was an option and without hesitation he said absolutely not, Christian is our guy. Fire him now! Good for Paul Charchian on the post game show to say it is an obsurd level of stubbornness and inability on the coaches part to recognize what is directly in front of him. greebs
ponder is showing that he's not looking like he's going to be the guy. I do find it a little ironic though that two seasons ago, the qb play was awful then too but few complained about the qb because there supposedly weren't any receivers to throw to so it was all on the receivers. Fast forward to last year and now this year and there still ain't much for receivers to throw to, but this year and last it's all on the qb and nobody mentions there's no wide receivers that can make plays.the vikings d once again didn't shine like they should have against a battered offensive line but then again is anyone surprised since they generally only show up for home games. If they let the Vikings stay in this game, that doesnt say much for their team. For the record, the Pack has lost 5 starters on D (one all pro and one HOF'er) and is playing with just a couple of O linemen that started the season. They lost another O lineman today....just sayin. fishersofmen
Fixed that for you. ........decent (or better) playoff team, LMFAO! Trainman
What a great game by AP! Too bad they couldn't pull out a win. We've got one more shot at them though. It will be interesting to see what happens in the Dome next week with the fans if Ponder stinks it up again. This is getting to be beyond belief with no action by the coaches. otterman91105
Love the vike's, but i think it's time to think about a different QB. Ponder is just not showing that he is the guy we need. Props to AP for the good day rushing just need to figure out QB spot.

I gotta say I wasn't impressed by either team Other than AP. 1 player away... put RGIII on our team and we're easily the best team in the division.
