mainbutter
Those turkey breasts are awesome, keep an eye out for whole frozen turkeys because they are even cheaper per lb.

hockeybc69
I would think when its all said and done, you are paying about the same price per lb of meat comparing turkey breast to whole turkey.
dirtking
ONAFLY - do you use the same recipe as ven pastrami? What temp do you smoke the breast to? I picked up a couple last night in Vadnais.
OnAFly
You do use the same recipe, but I smoke at 275 until they get to 160. The problem is that these are "enhanced" for "juiciness". AKA we pumped them so full of salt water you won't even think this was once a turkey. The cure won't take very well on a piece of meat that has a salt solution already in it. I still got a couple but will just be smoking them straight up.
hockeybc69
I noticed they were in salt solution as well..... cripes....will smoke them over Xmas regardless.
