leech~~
Good, bad, who cares! Do you think any team will want the headaches that can be Moss?
Dave S
he's well beyond his prime and isn't a threat to any defense. I don't see a benefit to any team gullible enough to sign him.
mrklean
who cares i think him TO and Chad Johnson are done so long loud mouth wide receivers
nofishfisherman
I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole. Heck, I wouldn't touch him with someone elses 10 foot pole.He just has too much quit in him.
Scott K
If he was able to accept a role position, and play hard, he could still benefit a team. Although, I dont see that happening, and I dont want his childish behavior on my team. I htink him and Favre should get themselves a washed up team to play against the Mississippi HS team. greebs
A motivated moss would still be a dangerous player but unless he is willing to play for a small incentive laden contract, seems he is too much of a risk. And there are likely only a few of the top tier teams that he'd be of any value to because you know once the going gets tough he would be the first one to quit on the team and he's not the type of player that will make a bad or middle of the road type team better to the point of being a serious contender.I'd guess he's hopeful a team like the patriots, saints, packers would be on his wish list but am guessing patriots would be only of those team that might be interested in him. LMITOUT
The Patriots would pick him up only to trade him back to the Vikings for another draft pick.
2k1stang
I'd welcome him back to the Vikings with open arms. Think back to '98. How many players stretched the field like him? Yeah, he's 35 or 36 now, but still. He still runs a 4.3. (I'm expecting the typical "man you're dumb" replies)

There are other recievers available through free agency that are younger and have more to offer. Why waste time, money and patience on Moss at this point? mnviking28
There are not a lot of receivers in the last 20 years that are not divas. They all think they are open, even if they aren't. They pout when they don't get the ball. I really think he has a couple of years left, IF he decides "he wants to play". Think of his first year in New England. Everyone thought he was washed up. Same thing now. I don't think his skill set has diminished, it is entirely a motivational thing. If Hines Ward doesn't come back in Pittsburgh, I wouldn't be surprised to see Mike Tomlin take a flyer on him with a complete understanding that he isn't going to put up with any garbage from him. It will take the right coach, and the right situation, but I think he will be back. I don't think he is the right fit with this team and this coach as Frazier is too much of a "yes" man and kind of a push over. But, as receivers go, I would take a flyer on him with a different team. EBass
He's beginning to pull a Farve. Retrie/unretire... but really who cares. He's a speed guy that's lost a step plus all the baggage that comes with him. Back in the day he was da man, but that was years ago. Maybe he's broke? Musky Buck
Got to be money related, he doesn't enjoy football, he enjoys this comment " every blue moon " he and nate newton and bam morris and ricky williams should all room together. In a way, he never went across the middle, he dropped or didn't make a full 100% effort to stop a pick or fight for the catch, if he didn't get hit in stride or where he could outjump you, he didn't care. He could but he can't help anyone, his # 1 job would be to run off coverage or try to tie up a corner and a safety, he don't want any part of that, it's money and how he handed too much out to his homies. If he had some Wes Welker in him or Wayne Chrebet you bet teams would want him, time to say good bye to the Joe Horns, TO's OCHOstinko's of the world. Speaking of stinko, I always felt it was TJ Houshmanzadeh who helped him the more than ocho helped himself.
Musky Buck
Back to Moss wow are some chat places riled up lol, many are blaming the traffic cop or whatever for that event up the one way the wrong way etc. lol, do we remember what was in the ash tray ? Yes, he was cooked and that's why he freaked out and drove the wrong way, the freak freaked out, he and Willie Nelson could have a smoke off. There's a reason you don't see much of Moss, his water pipes are too huge to go into public with, he's too fried to go public. The mooning, quitting in washington, embarassing Oakland, wrong way one way, comments there will never be a superbowl champion here in MN, squirting water at a ref, " I play when I want to play ". You should be set for life Randy, good luck to you and I would think British Columbia is a perfect environment for ya. You, not the media, created your bed to lie in so look to the window and say every blue moon.
FISHINGURU
Lol I'm sure Randy is so hurt by you Musky Buck, you should work for the media. The Vikes are better off getting a younger free agent WR then Moss, we don't want Moss anymore and I'm sure he don't want to play here either. He'll want to play for a superbowl team, not saying we couldn't win one in the next couple years but it's not likely. There's some nice FA WR's out there this season, we might also trade out of #3, get some extra picks and still get Blackmon, or even just draft him straight up. Musky Buck
lol guru, no doubt, I just like the way our society tippy toes around what the truth likely is, thing is people saw the media, they are quick to forget he had "stuff" in his ashtray, why is he out cruising around with that in the ashtray, because every blue moon could happen out on the road also, if a K9 unit searched his homes he'd be hoarse within the hour or can someone truthfully tell us no he's an angel, that was in his past..............present and future just like the vikes are in his past. Running the deep route and Chad Pennington made him his millions, sounds like he's a little short now.
2k1stang
I don't understand what is up with this site, and why you can't quote multiple people. But whatever. @nofishfisherman Thank you for proving my point. You could have just as well said "Man, you're I-need-to-improve-my-english-language-skills stupid". There's quite a few people here that need to pull their head from their silly-me and try accepting other people's opinion.
LMITOUT
Looks like the 49rs picked him up!
mrklean
haha oh randy will be interesting to see how much he plays this year and if he can make it through the entire season without being released
Musky Buck
I think at least to start the year if he's seeing the ball some and SF is winning he may sorta survive the season, didn't take him long to realize man when you're not playing you're out of the loop and forgotten about in a hurry. greebs
harbaugh may be just the no nonsense type of coach that moss may finally grow up under and do fine. moss seems to be happy when he's on a winning team so this might be a good fit if they can duplicate what they did last year and randy can accept his role on the team.on the other hand randy might just quit if the going gets tough. itchmesir
Moss definitely has the skills to pay the bills... Saying that we got crapped on when we got him for a whole 2 games.. doesn't really say or mean much... He's got talent still.. he just needs to keep his mouth shut.. He'd make a good addition to a team that's already pretty well stacked with receivers.. I bet if he was with the pack.. he could do some serious damage in the slot.. though i definitely don't wanna see if that would be true or not
FISHINGURU
I wish the best for the 49ers and Moss, I like both of them, 49ers play mean defense and just lack a deep threat, I still think Moss can go deep and win the jump ball.Crabtree,Vernon,Gore, will have a lot of space to work with underneath.
