Archerystud,

Wow! Looks like a heck of a spike or is older than 1-1/2 yr old and the injury has caused his rack to be that way.

Have heard on T.V. about injury's creating weird growth to antlers but have never personally witnessed it.

I'm sure he was a 2.5 year old buck and the injury caused his rack to turn out the way it did, his right antler probably had too much mass considering the injury for this to be a 1.5 year old. I assume it happened during the previous hunting season but could have been a car during the winter. I saw him a couple of times that year before gun season but never after that.

Here is another side view:

Chuby Minnow, if you put in a pool for a watering hole like I did be sure to put a heavy stick in it leaning on the side so the mice that fall in can get out. The bears knocked my stick out once and I found a lot of dead bloated mice floating in it- pretty disgusting.

Love, LOVe, Love the bear pool. Thats one way to beat the summer heat go for a summer swim. I would try that if my land wasnt wet every year the way it is. Last three years I had to wear rubber boots or I would be have wet boots for the the sit. I like the buck picture as well. Keep up the pictures I need something to pass the time to go out baiting.
