Hey Hanson, is that at the Eagle Lake public access if so I have a TON of memories from that lake, pretty much grew up on that lake when I was a kid, my first muskie came from there.

Yep it is. I live pretty close so its nice and convenient when you want to do some casting. The launch is shallow and sucky and the parking situation is sucky but other than that... smile

i put the bars up front for two reasons...knowing i would never mount a trolling motor on the bow, i put them on so people would have something to hold onto when i have to fetch the truck in a hurry on a windy day at the landing. the other reason is my kids...my daughter loves to sit up there and thought of safety first. it gives them something to hold on to when we're motoring around.

the rod holder idea is an interesting one...i might have to try that!?

one of my future purchases is to install rails in the front and rear so i can use rod holders. i would put them in a different place though.

nice rig ib_jigged! That's what I'm saving up for RIGHT THERE! Big enough to go skiing or tubing, yet geared for fishing. I'm in your neck of the woods, if your looking to sell in 3-4 years...I'll be paying attention!

Here's mine, ugly but I put alot of work in this spring so that I would be content with it for a couple more years. PD2 w/Ipilot and floor made a TON of difference. I almost always fish alone, getting my hand off the tiller has made fishing much less stressful.

Thanks TyGuy02. I went from basicallly what you have to the one we have now. I am very happy with this boat. Works well for all around stuff. We keep it at our seasonal sight north of Bemidji all summer, so we drive right through your town on the way to and home from there. Hopefully I won't get tired of it in 2-3 years, but you never know!

Actually know a guy form Fosston at our campground (does concrete work, you may know him?).

Thanks hamm scoot, I do not use the trolling plate very often but it does have its time and place. I can troll down to about .9mph with it all the way down, i use it mostly on windier days when its hard to get the rpm's just right. I also use it in the spring sometimes when crankin them cold water eyes. I do loose some boat control while using it, steering is a bit more difficult, but not too bad
