waskawood
Great question. My wife and I are heading to Minneapolis the end of July. We have had Murray's before but looking for something different in downtown Minneapolis. My vote would be Charlie's on International Drive in Orlando Florida. Palerider77
If in minneapolis I would say Ruth's Chris Steakhouse or Manny's. The cowboy ribeye is a great experience. If in St. Paul, Mancini's hands down. Cattleman's steakhouse in Ft. Worth TX was the absolute best I have had. Pure unadulterated beef, no gimmics just great presentation. reinhard1
honestly i dont. for example on the east coast a rib eye is a delmonico a london broil is a top round but here its a tenderized flank steak rolled up. tell me i'm willing to learn. i'm going to take a guess its a thick cut strip. your making me hungry. good luck. Windy City Walleye Hunter
I have been to Fogo and it is decent. Vegas steak was a one time deal that my millionare buddy picked up the tab on. Our bill was over a grand for four of us. He also dropped another three grand at one of the ultra clubs that night. Unreal, you have your own waitress, your own security guard who watches your things at your table while you dance, etc. Bottle service is a great way to seperate money from rich people! Jim Almquist
I have tried the Cattlemen's in Texas and it was a real good steak. I was down there for a couple of weeks and went out and bought one for the grill at the Inn I was staying at and it was a great steak as well. Something about that Texas beef.Over all I do think that the steaks I cook at home are some of the best. I like to pick my steaks out at the butcher shop. The need to be thick and well marbled. Then I bring them up to room temp with seasonings on them. We like Montreal steak seasoning or garlic and onion powder with a little fresh ground black pepper. A very hot grill for about 4-5 min. a side.
McGurk
Kraft Steak in Las Vegas Kobe beef steak and crab legs $225 best steak I have ever eaten, hands down. The only way to do Kraft Steak is on someone else's tab; that's how I did it! We had a table of 10, and about 1/2 ordered of the steak and crab, and 1/2 ordered the Kobi sampler. We all had some of everything, and it was almost orgasmic! As long as you aren't paying, anyways!

RumRiverRat
The best place for a steak is The Pickle Factory in Pepin, WI on the shores of Lake Pepin. They actually know what a rare steak is.
reinhard1
parent steak of the ny strip is porterhouse or t bone. the difference between a porterhouse and the t-bone is the size of the tenderloin. porterhouse having the larger tenderloin. a t-bone without a tenderloin can be called a bone-in strip steak or in the old days it was called a club steak. good luck. Windy City Walleye Hunter
I see you know what I am talking about, McGurk! I definitely partied like a rockstar that weekend. We were doing $50 sushi lunches, room service for breakfast at 2 pm and partying all night. It was one of the best weekends I have had and I could not lose at the tables either. This is where my millionare buddy taught me how to play craps. I was up about $500 in 20 minutes and he was down 5K! I won at the poker tables that weekend, at the blackjack tables and even at Caribean Stud. It was like I could not lose! Kraft Steak kobe beef was a truly outstanding experience, but like you said, on somebody else's dime!

Jeremy airjer W
On my own grill!I get rib eyes from sams club. I know your thinking what sams club for steaks. Some of the best meat I have purchased. There are actually butchers in ours and you can watch them do thing thing. I finely grind Montreal steak seasoning in a spice grinder and liberally apply to both sides of the meat. With my coals at max heat I cook them for 7 to 8 minutes a side. Steak is the last thing I think of ordering at a restaurant. Its just not as good! OnAFly
Porterhouse at the St Paul Hotel Grill was good. I really like the elk steaks I grill at home I had Kobe beef in Singapore last year. I wasn't too impressed. It was like eating a big hunk of fat with a few chunks of meat in it. I'm just used to eating much more lean meat.
