I was out on white bear early this morning and I didn't see anything but I could only fish for two hours? I might try bald eagle forest or white bear which one do you think?

Just got back from WB and we hooked into a 40". I also had a 30ish follow early in the morning. There were a lot more people on the lake that I would have thought. I was hoping that the water level would have scared a few people away, but no deal. I haven't heard any reports out from Bald Eagle besides all of the parking spots being full this morning.

had 3 or 4 follows, a couple tankers in the upper 40s range. nothing very active though

heard of a couple fish being caught but didn't see any boated myself

managed one follow in my boat. probably right around 6 AM. Fished a lot of water, hooked into a few tiny pike that really felt the excitement of opener on my hookset.

also had a 6# class smally follow a Phantom up to the boat as well.

Busier than I had expected though. Looking forward to getting out more in the middle of the week when the crowds die down.

Worked Lake Alex most of the day yesterday and had some 40's follow but fish were lethargic. Saw several fish just laying on structure and not interested in anything or would follow along underneath the boat.

It was a tough opener for me as well. I was on Big lake. Saw lots of smaller fish up shallow but nothing real hot. Glad to hear that some people did really well. Maybe next weekend.

Had a mid 40s follow within the first 10 casts opening morning on a baby loon creeper style topwater....she did two full 8s and lunged with her mouth open at the start of the acceleration of the 3rd and in my head I thought "no way is this gonna happen already!".....hahaha, yep...I was right! She lunged and missed and took off right back where she came from. Too bad but my knees were shaking, the water was glass, the sun was coming up, and we were muskie fishing again - oh it felt good. Had 2 other lazy follows, off the water by 11 so I could be home for a wedding. Good times, can't wait to get back out.

Had a great opening weekend. Saw over a dozen fish on Saturday but not real active to start, had a blowup on a weagle in the afternoon but no hooks.

Hit a different lake on Sunday and got my PB at 46.5 early on with a phantom. Had another chance later, but they were digging gliders and wtd baits, not blades. Surprised how few muskie anglers we saw.

Fished Bald Eagle all night Friday and White Bear early yesterday and only saw a few fish. Was a pretty dissapointing start to a much anticipated opener.

Fished metro and stuck a mid 30" fish. Had a 40" fish all over top water but she bailed last second at boat. Had two more in figure eight but they didn't commit. Largest follow was a 50" fish.

Myself,Dock-is-in,and Kroupa former prez of TC chapter went out in metro on sat,,,ended up with 42 follows 3 in the boat 3 others hooked,,biggest 44,,,never saw anything bigger then 45,, Cabelas guidewear is overated!! rained lightly most of day and the guidewear couldnt handle it

could not move a thing on double 10's,,not one follow which I guess is a GOOD thing especially for the wrists

We were on them on Sat: 40, 48, 50. We also encountered about 4-5 dumb ones that were visually challenged and couldn't hit the bait correctly. Sunday was tougher with just a 30" right off the bat and slow flogging after that.

Today was my mn opener. Boated a 41" on the eight and had another low 40 fish take a swipe on the eight but missed. Had two others follow. Nothing big. Pleasantly surprised for a 4 hr midday trip.

I ended up with a 39 and my bro caught a 38....Had over 20 follows on Saturday, but Sunday I think we only moved 3 or 4. Lots of real sluggish fish. Sure was fun to get back out there.

By the sounds of some of the reports, I wish I would have put the beer down Friday night and headed out Saturday. I hope to get out this weekend. The heat and humidity should rile them up.

Went to WI on Sat w/ a friend. We boated a 42" and 30". Moved 7 others. Will fish Forest on Wed. Less crowded then.

Bad opener but Mantrap to the rescue on Monday night, found a few ready to go skies up really shallow, we'll gladly take 2 over 40 and 1 38" anytime.

Was a good opener for me. Got to the lake a little late around 7:30 our so, with in a hour. We had 3 muskies in my boat, I had a rookie with me who has never fished musky before. HE had a strike on his second cast and a hour later landed a 43!! I think he's hooked now!
