Deitz,

I feel the same way from what I have seen of them. Almost no plastic and far less screws then probably any ther boat on the market. I love the way the consoles are all 1 pc fiberglass with the matching trim around the gages. My Triton had a rubber/leather gauge cluster and a cheap plastic wood grain looking pile of garabage that my switches were mounted to. All the screws were constantly coming loose. The boat ran great but it is the little things like that which are making me look closely at a Bass Cat. Now I just need to get a ride in one...

I have my Pantera II in Appleton WI. Otherwise you aren't too far from Wautoma WI which has a Bass Cat dealer (Marks Quality Marine). They would have a Cougar you could get a ride in.

Burnham,IMO Any 18 year old that has a boat like that has alot to be proud of WTG. For that matter anyone would be proud to own a boat like that at any age.

Me, like alot on here have what most would consider to be a nice boat. But Ill never forget the boats I started out in and have many found memories from all of them. Ill never forget the looks my son and I got pulling up in our 14 ft fiberglass boat, with a 35 johnson, our very first bass tourny. We won that tourny, against alot of 30k "nice" boats. Its not the boat its the fisherman.

Burnham,

That's a great find for 2k...

My grandpa has a very similar year 16' Stinger with a newer (mid 90s) Merc 40hp tiller and he's looking to sell it for $5,000. I've told him over and over he's smoking something and he's out of line on his price (which is why I never bought it from him) but as I've been keeping an eye on the classifieds, its hard to find a rig like that for under $4,000 so he may not be as crazy as I thought.

$2,000 is a hell of a deal on that boat. Definitely a good buy if the motor is sound. Although my steal of a deal from a couple years ago has now resulted in a full top end rebuild on the motor.

Just picked this girl up last weekend! 1988 16' Aggressor with matching Johnson motor.

I'm stoked to get her out on some water, and have had two unsuccessful attempts so far. First, on Tuesday, three out of three ramps were unlaunchable, and then on Friday morning I had left the key on (I was playing with the sonar in my driveway that night before) so when I got to the ramp there was no juice! BAH! Maybe I'll get my act together for Tuesday morning. I'd invite anyone to come along, but I can't promise success! smile

Burnham, very nice deal, sweet boat! wink It's great to see someone your age doing something with their self and not sitting in front of a video game all day or like some 18 year olds spending all their money on "bottle" Bass instead of out there catching them! cool

Just picked it up the other day from getting wrapped. I still have to pick up a few decals that still go on it and the license numbers are being custom made as well.

My buddy owns the company that wrapped it for me. I did help a little bit with the wrapping and prep work as well. I haven't seen a final bill yet, but it's around $400 complete. Although this is a discounted price for me, his rates are still far lower than anywhere else I have ever seen.

Sweet honeycomb wrap on that Alumacraft LakeDoktor. And your price seems to be a real steal. I wouldn't worry about the exterior of my boat so much if I knew I could wrap it in the future for even double that cost. I can't tell the model exactly, besides that it's a tiller?
