KVD IS A FREAK OF NATURE. I dont know how he does it. All the top guys were in the same spot throwing the same bait all week and he ends up on top by 5lbs. Must be that sexy shad color

I watched the classic with our 2 year old boy, and now he is walking around the house banging his head on things and yelling "Never Give Up". I think he is an Ike fan.

That was a nice charge by Ike but that 4 fish bag on saturday hurt him.

Was a really good charge by Ike. I liked how he switched it up and found his own way to catch them. Using 6 lb test and a small grub. guarentee not a lot of people were throwing a grub

Hey guys! That was a great classic! I was hoping for a little closer finish but it was an experience I recommend for anyone who has never gone! We were able to go down to the lake on Sunday and stood about 20' from Ike and about 100' from Kreit.

That would have been awesome. I told my wife you about your present from your gf and told her if she wants to get my a great christmas present next year that would be it. She thought it would be a good idea. So maybe ill be able to be down there next year.

What were the best parts and what was different than you expected?

The nice thing about next year is you can probably fly right into New Orleans... A lot cheaper than going from MN-TX-AL.

The main things that I found different than I expected was the size of the expo. Think of a little smaller than the MPLS show but with all bass stuff.

After watching those guys, the main thing I took away and realizd is that they do it the same way we do. They use the same gear, cast the same way, drive the same boats (as some). It's all upstairs!! They think on another level. They make the right decision's and do the right things when they need to. They trust their gut and commit to it. I came away realizing that it's possible to get to where they are, you just have to really want it and you have to work hard to get there. It's not physical, its mental...
