Berkley Power Worms

I have found the tournament walleye worms have been an excellent worm to use. The reason I believe it is a real soft material and I believe the scent on it is like they can't leave it alone. As for the color black and white have been my go to colors. But I do have to switch up to orange head to brown or natural body sometimes. Give them a try you won't believe how fantastic they work. Especially on real finicky fish!!!!

Hiya -

I like the classic 7" Power Worms. I'm still bitter that they discontinued the 6" ribbon tail. The white/glow color was dynamite on open water smallies. Also really got to like their shaky worms last summer.

As far as color goes, I have odds and ends in a variety of colors (watermelon, smoke, red shad) but I buy Pumpkinseed and Electric Grape in 100 count bags...

Cheers,

Rob Kimm

7" and 10" in Black, 7" white. Best two colors by far in my opinion. Although I also use green pumkin and red shad as well. Love t-riggin shallow near pencil reeds. Caught some hogs with this approach.

I like the 7 inch power worms. Anything in dark colors usually works black is one of my favorites. My "secret" largemouth bait is a texas rigged berkley chigger craw in the black w/ red flake or black w/ blue flake. Throw it any place you throw the worm. I find it outfishes the power worm 9 times out of 10.

I use them from 2" trout worms to the 10" powerworms and everywhere inbetween. Love em. The 7" or 8" power flippin worms are my favorite. My kids regularly outfish me using the 2" trout worms on a 1/16th ounce jig. Bass, of all sizes, just can't resist them.

I buy all of them at FFO for $1.50 a bag.
