harvey lee
Well, they did it again. Gave away a win.I cannot say this was a good season with a poor ending like this. Why do they seem to always do it to themselves??????All they had to do was kick a field goal in Reg time. croixflats
Vintage Gunslinger Favre.............If we had a good coach maybe Favre would not have been in the position to sling it.

Ryan_V
After years of beating us as a Packer, Favre beat us once again, only this time as a Viking.
Wanderer
There was plenty of crappy play to go around. We wouldn't have even been there w/o Purple Jesus.
Burnham
its favre that put us in that situation. its petersons fumbles and the overall lacking of the running game that lost us the game. he had a few good runs thats all. season high run 38 yds. ridiculous
1900_LE
Am I the only one who thinks this game was a little odd. The refs allowing NO to hit Farve late? Same as they did to the Cards a week ago? Giving NO a TD when it was clearly NOT? Saying whats his face caught the ball when it clearly hit the ground first? Come on guys did you all miss this? Obvious to me that SOMEONE really likes the Saints. Oh well better luck next year I guess!!
Snag
After taking all the late hits, I'm surprised he could even play the 4th quarter. Had they not had the 12 man penalty this could have been another run and a longwell field goal for the win.

You've got to be kidding me? What is Chilie suppose to do, glue the ball in there hands. He put them in a position to win .....easily and the players failed. fishersofmen
There has never been any qyestion about pro sports being fixed. This game just provides more evidence.
Snag
I thought Greenways hit on the 4th down knocked the ball loose and they should have spotted it back. The other play cleary was a drop. Vikes should have won by 20 today but made too many mistakes.

Obvious to me that SOMEONE really likes the Saints. Oh well better luck next year I guess!! I like the Vikes and those were good calls. The TD was the easiest call. The others, just depended on how it was called originally. If they were incompletes or short on the 4th, they don't get overturned. The Vikes didn't play good team ball. That's what cost us. The refs gave us some questionable calls in regulation that made up for the turnovers we had, and that (along with Shiancoe) kept us in the game. Flip37
What game were you watching? 3rd and long in OT and they call a holding penalty? That could have been called on every other play, on both sides the whole game, but called now? Pass interference when it's clearly uncatchable? Late hits on Favre? I can guarantee you that the NO coach said keep hittin him til they call it. Low hit on Favre? Why wasn't that called? The Vikings gave the game away, we all know that. But NO is dirty, lucky, and were given the game in the end. Half the yards on NO's OT drive came from the refs. Its OT, you let them play. OIF_Veteran_21B
Vikings have some of the best players in the NFL. They're just don't have a good coach, and do not play good team ball on the road.
