LMITOUT
Just imagine if it did come down to NYJ/MIN in the SB and the baby-faced rookie QB shows the grizzled old veteran WHO's DAT.

That may happen but it would be the Jets defense...and they're ALL DAT!!
koonie
Quote:Who cares what happens next year if the viking win the superbowl this year?Who cares? You're OK with winning a Super Bowl and then going back to mediocrity? Why would anyone want that?Who says we go back to mediocrity? Who said they wanted that? Are you that slow that you would think that was what I meant?Quote:You obviously have no clue. We actually match up really well. The only place we have a disadvantage is at the safety position. Our offensive and defensive lines match up better than they did with dallas. The saints have a smallish defensive line and they have a young but solid offensive line. They have the worst defense, by far, left in the playoffs. Do a little research before you talk. That way you won't look so clueless. Not just the safety position, but the entire secondary. The only way the Queens stop Brees is with Allen and Edwards, and that will be tough. Brees has a knack of throwing short, quick passes over the middle to beat the blitz. On the flip side, look what the Saints defense did to Warner, they completely shut him down cause he can't move the pocket. Not sure if you noticed, but Brent is no spring chicken. If Reggie Bush has a good day, the Saints will pick apart the week Queens secondary and have a field day. It's not the entire secondary. The gist of the cover 2 zone is that the safeties keep the receivers in front of them when they get passed off by the corners. You don't allow those over the top big plays. If they make a play in front of you then you limit the yac. Apparently you haven't paid much attention lately seeing as the Vikings don't blitz very often. Favre can move in the pocket and the pocket much better than Warner ever could. Warner is and always a pure pocket passer. I can say the same for AD as you said for Bush. Great analysis.Quote:Why would zygi break up the team if we win. He'll make more money keeping it together. As for moving to LA. There are at least three teams that will move before the Vikes. The NFL has already stated they want to keep a team in Minnesota.See limits postWhy see that post. If he keeps the team together and continues to put a very good team on the field the value will continue to go up. As far as moving to LA. Do a little research that way you can talk out of your mouth not you [PoorWordUsage].Quote: think its just cowardly that you dont say what team is yours... your just delaying people ripping into you...i can understand.... your scared and embarrassed of your teamCowardly? Hardly. You said in your earlier post that the Xcell and the Target Center were full for the PLAYOFFS because Minnesotans are such great fans....where are they when things are tough during the regular season? How come in years past there were threats of blackouts for Vikings games? Why do I get a call once a week from the Timberwolves ticket office asking me to come to a game because I went to a game 3 years ago? The only true sports fans in this state are those of the Twins................What does your statement have to do with jwmiller calling him a coward for not claiming a team. You aren't even comparing the same thing. You're calling Wild, Vikings, and Wolves fair weather for not going to games? Take a look at ticket prices and all the expense that goes along with going to the games. Not everybody has deep pockets. That alone doesn't make all who don't attend fair weather fans. At least we all have the cojones to claim and cheer for our teams.Once again, I can't wait to see who you Queens fans blame for the upcoming loss........GO SAINTS!Who do you think we would blame for a loss. The players. That's who. Common sense. Get some. GO VIKINGS!!!!!!!!!!!

DTro
I will say it again, that Cowboys win made the season for me. What a week of entertainment. Everything from quirky and funny photos, to Favre prayers to a horrible Vikings song by Prince It’s funny to walk by someone you’ve worked with for years and they have never mentioned Football once during that time, and out of the blue they say, “Did you hear Harvin is having migraines??!!” Pretty comical. I say good luck to them and it’s going to be a fun game!
we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted January 22, 2010 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted January 22, 2010 Like arsenic, purple KoolAid is a cumulative poison. Not realy, that would be the yellow snow green puke flavored koolaid that is a cumulative poison. On that Note..Thanks Vikes for the GREAT season so far. We're looking forward to watching the VIKES PLAY in the Superdome this Sunday and sipping on that awesome purple koolaid

Snag
I think the vikes have a decent chance this weekend and think it is already a successful season with the 2 wins over the pack and taking the cowboys behind the woodshed with their pants on the ground for a whooping. The aints have thrown up some lame performances the past two months. Hopefully the injuries don't play into it. I'm a believer that the Giants had the radio frequency last NFC title game. Jim Uran
Regardless, you can't call this season a failure. Only a fool would call this season a failure. Sure, if you aren't first you're last, but I'm with Darren on this one. Making it to the NFC championship game with a good chance of going on to the superbowl makes it a heck of a season to me. So to all you negative nelly's out there and you dirty trolls, don your true colors and shut up!!!!!

zepman
Mine both wore their autographed Jared Allen jerseys to school today too...hockey games Sunday afternoon(both squirt and pee-wee)have been mutually canceled by both parties...and a fresh 55 gallon drum of Purple Kool-Aide on the way ...let's hope the Vikes show up to play and "lady-luck" is on their side in the Big Easy this Sunday. Born2Fish
I smell more than a few closet purple fans in here. You secretly root for them while bashing them at the same time. GENIUS! Keep up the negative talk because it seems to be working alright up to this point.
