DTro
Of the three remaining teams (we cannot play Philly) which matchup do you want to see for the Vikes for the first game? For me it’s pretty easy, the Arizona Cardinals. Not only would it be the easiest team IMO, there are no mental games like there would be if GB came into town again. Speaking of which, I not afraid to say that I don’t want to see GB coming here at all. Whether it be the first game or the championship. That game scares me. Besides we already proved we are a better team twice. A third time is unnecessary

Jim Uran
Let's beat the deadhorse all we can here. This happens very rarely..... I'd like to beat the snot out of GB, but we can save that game for last.
eyehead
It doesnt matter who we play......Vikes wont lose a game at the dome.GB, AZ, Dallas, or Philly will get stomped when they show up. On the road though, anything can happen with this team
Cooter
A Green Bay Queens matchup would have obnoxious ratings. If I was a Queens fan I'd also be pleased to see the Cards come in rather than the Pack or Cowboys.
zepman
Cowboys beat Philly for the 3rd time this year and head to Minnesota...will be a great game if it happens.
MUSKY18
My money is on the Cowboys coming to the dome to play against the Vikings. This is good for the Vikings, cause after watching the Cowboys game, I think our D line is going to eat up their line and hammer Romo into the turf! Our defense is much to fast against the run, and the Cowboys run alot of slow developing traps and counters. Advantage Vikings. If Favre, Shancoe, Rice, Peterson, and the boys keep on this roll, I think Dallas will be very afraid to come to the dome!!! If the Packers were to end up coming to the dome, could be an interesting game, but once the Vikes beat them again, all questions will be answered!! But I don't even think that the Packers will get by the Cards, cause....they are the Packers and they suck.
PierBridge
Here's how the divisional round looks from a schedule standpoint:The Vikes play at high-noon the 17th at the Dome!Saturday, Jan. 16: NFC game: Arizona, Green Bay or Philadelphia at New Orleans, 3:30 p.m. on Fox. AFC game: Cincinnati, the Jets or Baltimore at Indianapolis, 7:15 p.m. on CBS.Sunday, Jan 17: NFC game: Dallas, Arizona or Green Bay at Minnesota, noon, on Fox. AFC game: New England, Cincinnati or the Jets at San Diego, 3:40 p.m. on CBS.The Vikings will play the highest-remaining seed from the wild-card round. That will be Dallas if the Cowboys can beat the Eagles this Saturday night.
lawdog
I personally think none of those three teams can look forward to coming here but Dallas is playing the best right now. As bad as we've looked on the road lately, we've looked that good at home. Bottom line, if we play like we did yesterday, it doesn't matter which team comes as we'll throttle them. Likewise if we play like we did against the Panthers or AZ or the first 1/2 of the Bears game we won't beat any of them. I suspect you'll see very different games in Dallas and AZ next week than what you saw yesterday so its hard to judge off that.
Steve Foss
I'm with you Dtro, that game scares me. I'll take AZ or Dallas over GB anyday. Be afraid. Be VERY afraid. Durn scaredy cat!
we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted January 5, 2010 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted January 5, 2010 The nice thing is the Vikes get to play in a dome as long as they're in the NFC play-offs.

james_walleye
Me to because i don't see the vikings losing in the dome. On the road at NO would be a much tougher task.

Jim Uran
MN hosts GB in the NFC championship game. Thats my prediction. If it does I'm saying the NFL is run by the friggin mob.. How frickin cheesey of a situation is that? No pun intended either.
james_walleye
I would say its quite likely that pack beats AZ and given the chance NO as well.
Jmnhunter
I didnt see the game, but listened to it this past sunday, and what I've been hearing from others is that NY looked like a High School team so the win wasnt a suprise; although playing at home will be tough to lose to anyone. I dont think we will have to worry about GB at home especially; everyone was worried about playing them the 2nd time after beating them "it will be tough to beat GB twice in a row" Hell, I say bring them on!! DTro
I don't even want to think of the aftermath of a GB victory at the dome. Just shoot me now.
james_walleye
What gives the vikings a better chance at heading to Miami? GB at home. On the road at NO. I'd clearly take GB at home.
MUSKY18
what the heck.....bring the Packers on. Bring em to the dome, stomp them for a 3rd time this season and then we won't have to listen to their fans talk about how great they are! Someone in a previous posting said the Vikings had such a cake schedule, well......the Packers had that same cake schedule....so lets get this done and overwith (at least for this season)!!
