"Rules, we don't need no stinkin rules" Seriously though, I fish with a lot of good guys and we pretty much know what to expect out of each other. I can even pretty much know what everyone will grab for tools when we set up. The only rule I guess I really have is if you borrow my fish house and equipment when I'm not there try to leave it in as good a shape and as clean as you took it and don't leave garbage in the house or on the lake.

No smoking in the house or blow it out the vent.. Or go outside..Must like Saurkraut,Beans,Jerky,Brats,Burgers..Are able to laugh and act foolish.. Enjoy each others commradery..Enjoy the oppertunity to be fishing..

thats exactly what i was thinking... just have to add "guests bring the beverages ;)"...just like marshmallow said just enjoy the oppertunity to be on the lake with your buddies making memories.

I have to agree with the no spitting chew in the holes, that is absolutey disgusting. Especially when you get a cup of water to drink from that hole. Just jokin'. Does anybody do the whole "You missed a fish, now take a pull game"?

I think I might have to start that game this year! I usually miss more than the guy I usually go with but thats not always a bad thing!

My only rules: Don't catch more fish than I do and No Smoking in the houses. (nobody I go with does anyways but still I can't stand cigarette smoke!)

Don't complain about me smoking or anybody else smoking whether it is a cigar or cigarette .

Do not throw or spit anything down the holes . Do not drill an outside hole right in front of the door and do not whiz there either .

Drink and be merry but if you get crusty down the hole you will go .lol

dont really need rules in the fish houses that i fish out of. everybody i fish with knows how to bait their own hook, how to get a fish off their line, and proper etiquette for acting and behaving while on the ice. its not rocket science. i'm more then willing to show the ropes to someone if i am bringing a newbie out with me. i dont like having rules like "my way is the only way since it's my fish house". i like having fun and for the people im with to have fun. rules are for the classroom and workplace. not the icehouse
