Esox_Magnum
Both are sharp, buy what you can get the best deal on. What colors your truck? get it to match.
Wish-I-Were-Fishn
Both are sharp, buy what you can get the best deal on. What colors your truck? get it to match. My wife ribs me for this, but it's a huge factor. Scores more points going down the road and at the launch BTW, I like the black. Sort of depends on motor color also though. hound32
black stands out good when there is fog on the lake.
jwmiller33
i'd match the color of my truck if i could
JimBuck
Anyways, I'd go with black if you run in any darker or stained water (rivers, algae blooms etc.) waterlines will show up much easier. Good luck!
croixflats
Good point JimBuck I would go with the black also. With my boat, though not a 175, I now have a hard time matching a new truck to my boat. just a bit of goofyness. Matching the boat with the tow vehicle looks great going down the road. Matt C
I had a black 06 Trophy. Looked Sharp! But, shows dock rash and road chips easily! My new boat an 09 Trophy is white. Hides scratches and looks very sharp! With both, they can match with most color trucks...but I agree with others. Gotta look good with the truck too! GRAND DAD
What ever you do don't buy black, I did and yes it match's my truck. Black will show every scratch you put in the boat. And is very hard to keep clean. just my 2 cents. Ps I would go with white but Red is realy sharp too
dfv87
Black also gets really hot to the touch in the summer sun... I have a white with Black accent colored boat and like it a lot. I also agree with matching truck but also the motor you are going with! JMO... good luck with your new boat!

I also agree with matching truck but also the motor you are going with! JMO... good luck with your new boat! I have a black Lund and it really doesn't get hot at all in the sun. At least not when it's on the water. It does show dirt, water spots and scratches though.
Larson15
i would go white. You will appreciate it much more in the long run than black.
Duffman
I have a black truck and boat, they look super sharp when they are cleaned up, but it takes some effort to keep them looking sharp. The interior carpet color will have a lot more say in how hot the boat gets vs. the exterior color. Honestly, the exterior color of the boat is for other people to look at, I can't see what color my boat is when I'm fishing from it. But it does look good when it's hooked up to the truck. speedbump
I have a 2008 Navigator and it is white. It hides dock rash and other scratches well.
fish-n-fool
Juan Grande has something going here on the Reason not to get married thread....... pinkish purple color with old school sparkles in the paint. It would without a doubt get you some attention.....

fish-n-fool
Just buy a boat and get a new truck to match the boat.... Simple solution.... without the moose horns of course..

senco 1
Go with white! Dark colors are hard to keep clean.
bassmann77
I have a 175 Dominator and it is black with a 115 Merc 4-stroke on it. Black on Black is really sharp. I have a Maroon truck that matches the accent of the Alumacraft maroon. I say it does look good. As with the color, it doesn't get hot at all in my experience so far. The dock rashes are another story. I put the first dock rash in it this opener guiding at the Governor's opener on WBL and it hurt a lot seeing the scar. The black does look good though, and I don't think I would trade it for a white one. Good Luck in picking out the boat and whatever color you do pick, one can't go wrong with an Alumacraft. wplatehunter
I would go with white. My last boat was black and hard to keep clean and shows everything.
