Joshuaace
I need to get out! I think you would have owned that state record Joshuaace !! I thought so at the time, but at 11:30 p.m. with no live well, trying to get that fish to certified scales would have been a death sentence. The Illinois record will fall soon enough, I don't need to offend the fish gods with the unneccessary slaughter of a fish for a record. Shack
Gordie was a flat fishing machine today, well till around the noon hour. Nice flat Gordie. Biggest one I have ever seen with my own eyes. I pick the spots and people catch fish lol. Just have to work on that bullie wiff casts so we actually have hungry monsters to catch. Shacks food shelf for hungry flats was open and in full swing today. Fun times this weekend with LFC & Elwood. Some nice flats were boated. Sunburn, sunburn, and can I say sun burnnnn! Beware of the sun burn. Nice fish everyone. Things are rolling hard and time is tight. Josh. Welcome to HSO and that is one heck-of-a-fish. MinnesnowtaWild
Joshuaace...that's very respectable that you didn't risk the life of that beautiful fish for a state record. It's not worth it in my opinion...just a name in a book. Definitely bad Catfish karma. If you don't mind me asking, what river was that fish out of in Illinois? And Gordie, again, sweet fish! Thank goodness for hot-spares, eh? Another example of why a guy needs to have at least 2 of everything!
