Chubs won't start flowing through town until the Dam store in rapidan starts stocking bait. They supply many of the bait shops in area with creek chubs. They usually start a week before game fish opener so you should see them real soon.

With a 37 point flathead last night....I would say they are stirring. I will enjoy 3rd place while it lasts wink It was good to see them again....really got the blood pumping from my previous sleeping position.

I woke up this morning to a full KOTC inbox. Nice job guys. Keep this up and I won't have time to fish myself.

Some real nice channels coming in. Just a matter of time before the big Flats start showing up.

Hey thanks man! I would definitely be down for slayin some kitties with ya man ... I generally work nights, Friday nights I have off, but I am more than willing to take a night or two off ... I live in Little Bohemia, but I also work in Mankato, which is why I'm down there so much ... let me know a night and we'll get something set up!

Went out for a few hours today before work in Kato, landed a 27x14 (forgot the camera today sadly since I was flying solo) and lost a real nice Flat ... broke my 30# BBG Mono. Looks like it's time to invest in some PowerPro! wink

Leaderboard update:

Lots of very nice channels being entered, and the flatheads are slowly trickling in.

I expect a a very different looking Flathead leaderboard in the next couple of weeks
