A R Johnson
Chris Carter didn't make it? If that's the case I wonder why the F not!
Whisker Trout Slayer
Richard Dent should make it before him.
Bryce
Wish when the newscasts report this, they would include clips of his sideline antics. Great talent, great numbers but what a cancer on the sideline. If character of person is a factor in the voting, he may be waiting awhile longer. Plus no superbowl victory at wideout postion makes it very difficult to get in. Pretty sure I am correct in saying that he didn't even have a superbowl appearance. Sandmannd
Randel McDaniel got it. I think it's great for him. His stance was odd, but he was one of the best. 12 straight pro bowls is awesome. As for CC, I agree with Bryce. He could be quite the cry baby if things weren't going his way. Still one of the best of all time and hope he gets in. I would love to see that type of WR playing for the Vikes again. Another that didn't get in is John Randell. Would love to see this guy go in as well. One of the best in my opinion. A R Johnson
There are worse people in the hall than CC. He still ranks in the top 2 or 3 in many catagories i bet.
BpAki987
give him a few years he'll be in. Randall Mcdaniel, Derrick Thomas and Rod Woodson happy they got in. Fantastick Players and people outside there teams.
Whisker Trout Slayer
You got to be kidding me!! You don't think Dent should be in there? You got to be kidding me!!! And don't tell me you think Chris "Crybaby" Carter deserves it before Dent. Here is why Dent should be in:He was an integral part of a championship defense that is considered one of the best in NFL history and was voted to four Pro Bowls.Selected All-Pro four times and All-NFC five times. He was named Super Bowl XX MVP after registering 1½ sacks and two forced fumbles in a 46-10 thrashing of the New England Patriots. When he retired in 1997, Dent’s 137½ sacks ranked third behind only Reggie White and Bruce Smith.I am sure Windy will chime in here. KadenBear
I think Johnny Randle deserves the call before "Crybaby" Carter. Carter was great on the field, but Cancer on the sidelines.
westb
Both Carter and Randle have the stats to be in before Dent no question. Look at the stats. Not even a hard decision.
zepman
Carter may have to wait awhile to get in. He was a jerk and everyone knows it including the voters. Definately has the stats and resume' and will eventually get there but they'll make him wait a few years I bet. Nice class that was voted in this year, really can't disagree with any of them. pinkfloyd4ever
CC should have got in, wasn't Irvin a first ballot? CC beats out Irvin any day IMO.

Jim Uran
He had the best hands EVER!! This guy got snubbed, if ol cocaine nose Irvine made it in, Carter should be a shoe in.
Sandmannd
I'm not sure what the deal with CC not getting in. Pretty sad that he's not.
SledNeck
The NFL hall of fame is a joke
Sandmannd
Not so much the hall of fame, but the folks that vote the people in. Lots of good players have been over looked for more popular ones.

solbes
I personally don't understand why CC hasn't gotten in yet either. At his retirement, he was 2nd all time in TD's with 130. He's since been passed by T.O. and Moss and stands 4th. I would venture both of those guys will be first ballot HOF's. I can't think of anyone who was better at making sideline catches or corner of the endzone catches than Carter.
ozzie
who cares what attitide the guy had on the sidelines!! you don't make the hall cause you are or were a nice guy it is all about performance and CC performed better than any other reciever besides the best ever (jerry rice) until his retirement......the Hall is a joke for football and baseball (Bert Blyleven).......it is not always the best players but the popular players which is B S
