it's amazing the difference angle and lighting can make in a photo. i would have guessed maybe 3.5 lbs for that fish, tops. congrats on the 5.6 - that's a hefty fish.

It doesnt. I'll alter backgrounds sometimes too. That is an amazing smallie! When did you get it? Doesnt look recent.

I just caught a new PB smallie this weekend on Mille Lacs. Chunky fish at 19.5. I cant wait 'til I finally crack 20 or more. Having a place by Mille Lacs now should make it a much easier task to complete.

My son and I, on his first outing. He also held the bass, but I wasnt quick enough to snap a picture. He held it by the lip and looked just like a pro. Look out KVD, someday he will be competing against you!

We were on North Center. A sappire blue jig, with a sappire blue KVD chuck jr was working well!

Pretty small dinky bass, but its our first together!

Thank you for the kind words. TUTF, that was my pb smallie from the end of last year just came across it on the computer so thought i would share. Good luck on breaking that 20" mark, alot of nice fish in mille lacs.
