Just one of the many nice gills I caught yesterday before going to work. All fish came on a large, super-glow "Hexi Fly" tipped with "wax".

Joey with a little perch and pumpkinseed along with a tiny perch there woulod be ten to thirty of these little guys attacking around your hook today, you could even get them to come up the hole chasein your hook

Had fun fishing the crappies last night, Here is a couple pics from my outing. mostly 10-12" fish!! Northland Tackle makes some great jigs, my two favorites last night were the the scudbug, and the forage minnow jig, both in red glow!

Was up in Itasca county March 8-11. Lots of crappies, mostly small, and some great gills. Couldn't break the 10" mark but got quite a few over 9 1/2". Released the big boys.
