Matt Johnson
I weighed that fish in at 1 pound 15 ounces and 11 7/8 inches long and it's still swimming. The height of the fish is what was mind-boggling. It was sprouting meat in spots a fish shouldn't be growing! LOL! Looks like a lot of people are catching some nice sunfish! It must be bedding season!

reinhard1
another plate size gill!!! i notice the snap on round bobber on the pole. that is the same i use for shallow panfish and bait underneath. no slip is what i like about it and the distance required at times. i also use that bobber for steelhead and loopers. great fish. good luck. Duffman
Nice! See you got the "real" boat out, Outlying metro? or was that freak in proximity from some sort of chemical discharge Up north in the Grand Rapids area, there was a pair of these big guys on patrol, I think it worked towards my advantage, it was a race to see which one of them wanted to provide me with some fun. Then I went back to chasing bass.

Ahhhhhh, that's why the hound started to bark out in the boat, she could sense some vermin around. Looks like you guys had fun and found some fish. Nice!
