Poll - Which Ice Machine Mode Do You Use??????

Recommended Posts

I have a 522 - have used it mostly in flasher mode but played around a little bit with it yesterday in graph mode. Was able to pick up the lure a little better in relationship to the bottom - nice. Did see a fish come off the bottom and "hit" my bait - sneaky fellow took my minnow. After a while though it seemed like the screen got cluttered with fish "lines", bait "lines" other stuff "lines". Just wondering who uses what mode and why -

1) Flasher

2) Graph - full screen

3) Graph - split screen (zoom)

4) Other

Any advice/suggestions/tips would be appreciated - thanks. Paul

I mainly run in 3 with 4x zoom. If I'm running shallow (8' or less) I will switch the Upper and Lower limits in order to have the entire water column on the screen then toggle 2x and 4x.

Exactly the same thing I do.

I usually run with a single graph, and zoom in accordingly. Unless I am in 30+ ft and trying to split hairs with my graph I dont really need to use the zoom that much.

Be sure to turn on the mode that shows you the signals on the right. That is what I am watching more than the graph.

Okay - here are the results (so far) out of 11 total votes -

1 or 9% use #1) Flasher

3 or 27.2% use #2) Graph - full screen

5 or 45.4% use #3) Graph - split screen (zoom)

1 or 9% use #4) Other - fiskynut did not specify "other"

Looks like I may have to play around a bit more with it in the split screen mode. Paul
