Wost hook I have ever had was before bass season.. I was working on by boat, and sat on my seat. Crank bait on it. Hook wen through my shorts, through my bum, through the seat of the boat.... I had to use my cell phone to call my wife in the house to cut my shorts off and seat off.. and then do the line trick... NOT COOL!

HAHAHA sorry bud, it's probably bad karma for me to find that humorous but I can just visualize the whole situation being stuck to the seat with a hook in the rear.

Yikes, that looks painfull. Had one in my leg before and it's not fun man. Mine was a trip to the ER, less pain that way.

OUCH! I do know the line trick, but luckily (knock on wood) I haven't had to use it yet.

got one in the thinker a couple years back. I guess I was the color or ice cream when my brother pulled it out. I did not think it hurt that bad but then again I would not do it for fun either.

i took a rooster tail to the side of the head this year while back in MN. it didn't hurt as much as the rap in the thumb when i lived winona. i've been fishing for over 25 years, and the only times it's happened to me were in minnesota.

i am still leary about grabbing a fish with a mouth full of trebles.

Looks like an awful lot of meat to be using for pike. A sucker minnow might work better.

Line trick works like a charm! Fishin silvers way in the backwaters of the Croix, got a small treble embedded in my thumb.Tried pushing it through, but not enough hook. Told my buddy to loop some line through the bend while I held the eye tight to my thumb. YANK! Popped out, a little anti-ointment,a bandaid, and back to fishing within 15 minutes. 2-3 days later, you could barely see a hole. I'm A Believer!!
