Hammer Handle
I am sad that Favre is out of our division. Now who is going to throw the ball to our team? I hope T-Jack keeps getting better. Except for about 2 games, he was horrible last year. Although he had no one to throw it to either. Hopefully, they have all improved.
Scott K
T-Jack will be fine! We dont need a gun slinger, just someone that can complete 20 pass attempts per game. And be accurate at 20 yards. I am sure Jackson can learn that role, I could probably do that
SkunkedAgain
Jeez, it sounds like you're looking for another Trent Dilfer - someone who can take the snap, hand off the ball, and not do anything that would resemble a passing quarterback.I don't think that you just find a gem like Adrian Peterson and then hope for a QB that'll do just enough to keep you from losing games. The Vikings need a QB that will scare defenses into playing honest so that both the running and passing attacks scare the you-know-what out of opponents. That'll make your defense even better. That would be awsome! Do you know of any available? Its to bad there is only a elite few out there like this, and those other teams always want to keep them
IFallsRon
I hope he enjoys grass cause he'll get plenty behind the Jets' line.
Sandmannd
Just be prepared for the princess to still stir the post. I'll believe it when the contract is signed.
croixflats
Just like Sandmann's said believe it when we see it. If he decides to play for the Jets I see him retiring again next year after a losing season.
Sandmannd
Wouldn't it be interesting if the jets traded Favre to the Bears? They're putting a poison pill in the contract that if they trade to our devision it costs them three first round picks. Doubt they'll be doing that. Shack
You know, Favray has to show up to training camp to make this deal good! Has anyone seen him suited up yet in a Jets jersey and on the field? Will that happen after speculators said he would not, unless he got what he wanted???????? At this point, I highly think this is not over and done with yet. I have not seen any images of Favray shaking hands with the Jets upper crest yet and getting his jersey. I think what has been reported yesterday and today is alot of PR from the Packers org., Jets and the NFL.., not from Favray him self!

PierBridge
I am sad that Favre is out of our division. Now who is going to throw the ball AGAINST our team? AND DESTROY US "NOT FARVE THANKFULLY" Fixed it for ya!.... I like our chances just a bit more with Errant Rodgers at the helm.

Sandmannd
Yea, nothing so called about my hate for the guy. This princess crying he's been doing even makes it worse. You think that this is going to tarnish his career at all? I hope so, and I hop Madden eats some crow instead of turkey legs now.
PierBridge
Tarnished probably not.Go Vikes!
Shack
I figure he has played the game good and long enough to pretty much justify him to do what he wants. Green and yellow, purple and gold or pink and tan, he is a great player.
Hammer Handle
So, maybe we will pick up Chad Pennington from the Jets??
BRULEDRIFTER
I personally don't see us picking up any other QB's! I think it's pretty clear that Chilli's going ALL IN w/ TJack. And I say RIGHT ON!!!!! Give the kid a flippin chance for Pete's sake. It's either going to work, or it aint. And if it doesn't...We'll we wont have to worry about TJack or Chillie next year!GO VIKES!
Sandmannd
I agree Brule, lets see what we get and if he doesn't play well, get a new one next year. Maybe a vet will be out there.

croixflats
I just saw him on the Jets field and they are already treating him with kid gloves. He wasn't even dressed in pads. I guess he has to have that special padding and that non-allergenic polyester.
