Tom Linderholm
I finally got back to it last night for a little bit, I will be doing some more work this evening and will post some pictures when I finish up for the night. I replaced some of the side wall, I needed a place to store all my planer boards, nets, etc... I pulled the rod storage out from the starboard side and opened it up like the other. As for the motor, love the thing, it's not hard to do when you switch from 1991 Evinrude XP. fishorgolf
I have the same boat with the cuddy! 10 ft's on LOTW last year no problem.
Tom Linderholm
Slowly but surely she will be done for open water...... As of late allot of pieces have come together. The front casting platform went back together very well and is sturdier than before. I just have the vinyl trim to complet up here. As for the rest of the boat, new pedestals arrived this week so I got busy reinstalling them into the boat, previously there was a jump seat on the port side. I reinforced the flooring on that side with aluminum and riveted it to the beams so my seats stay where they are. The side walls went in well, along with the storage compartments. Pretty much all that is left is getting the stern casting platform built and reconnecting power. With any luck I will have it finished up this week. I will keep you all posted as the next few steps get done. Off to Menards to pick up more lumber......

Tom Linderholm
Marine General ordered them for me, they are the Attwood Centrics. Right around $150 a piece.

Farley
Looks awesome, I'm doing a similar job on almost the same boat right now, but not quite as extensive as you've done. On mine I'm just fixing\reinforcing some of the broken stuff and replacing some of the flooring. But after seeing your front platform, it makes me want to tear out mine but that might have to wait untill next year. I also like how you enclosed the area in front of the passenger seat. Very nice. How much did all that vinyl cost if you dont mind me asking? I guess all I want to know is what it's price is compared to carpet.

Tom Linderholm
Well about a 100 hours later, I finally put most of the finishing touches on her. Here are a couple pics of the finished product. Here's what went into it: 14' 1 1/2" Fuel Hose 22' 3/4' bilge hose 4 3/4" sheets of AC2 plywood ( I put 1 mil plastic underneath it to create seperation from the aluminum beams) 2 1/2" sheets of AC2 8 2"x4" AC2 4 2"x2" AC2 2'x4' 1mil aluminum 51' of Nautolex Vinyl flooring (storm grey) 4 qts adhesive 21' of cabela's carpet for the walls 21' of marine upholstery vinly A vast amount of misc. hardware runs to menards Grand total of wood, parts, hoses, etc....I sunk $1500+ into this remodel. hanson
Thats just absolutely awesome!!Very nice job and thanks for taking the time to share and photograph your progress. Even though I like new things, I love bringing stuff back to life. With a boat, a little goes a long ways. Lots of folks don't think they can afford a boat but there are so many older great boats out there that need a little TLC and you are in the game! ripstick
Well now that it is looking ready and like a new boat 1? comes to mind. Will it remember how to catch fish or will it have to be retrained. Cu on the pond soon.
Tullibee
Wow!! That turned out sweet. Much easier to take great pride in fishing out of that than going out and buying a new boat eh. Nice work.
Northlander
I would have taken the $1500 and that nice new motor and got a LUND! Seriously though Tom that sure looks awesome. Ill make sure I baptise it during the Grand Slam for ya. Hey we all need them skunk tails and then some thing else for when we fill out.
Iambjm
The boat is definitely nice, but I like the rod holder on the ceiling above. Is the section that holds the front of the rod the same as the back? I really need to build one for our garage as we have around 15-20 rods to store.
