Nice. The funny thing was on our site the users always suspected the staff of withholding information in a hidden forum (outside of the normal staff duties information). It actually got to the point where we decided to create the forum:

Setter... Yepper same goes for me regarding Forest... I would love to figure that lake out... might be whole lot easier now since I got the monkey off my back in 2007...

Congrats cjac, always something new to learn when reading your posts. You'll serve us nutcases well I'm sure.

We should hit the water sometime this summer.

As far as forest goes, here's my take on it, years ago when i started fishing it we always fished up skinny with smaller bucktails and did fairly well. For some reason or another over the course of the last few years we abandoned that idea and started fishing deeper. Needless to say that hasn't worked out the greatest and later this fall I decided to go skinny again and low and behold there they were. The biggest problem with doing the skinny water on Forest is the weeds, but I honestly believe that if you can deal with the frustration it will pay off. Or I just suck and finding the fish in shallow was luck of the drawl.

Matty and I have spent all of our time fishing in the shallow... we basically kept the boat in front of the dropoffs, casting into the shallow with no luck... We did try trolling few times... no luck either... Just guess that its the year that the muskies werent going after anything on Forest... Maybe 2008 will be better...
