They taste just fine. I do not usually keep the bigger saugers but some do. I normally only keep fish under 16 or 17 inches if I need some for the pan.

They taste fine it's the radioactive glow you put out for 3 days afterwards that you need to worry about! :)J/K Like Mike said eat the smaller ones and you should be just fine.

Ironically, I was fishing with a person from the MN Pollution Control Agency who supervises the unit that collects the fish for the contaminants studies. He took a couple walleyes home for dinner.

As long as he eats them I will too!

Stay within the state's published recomendations and you will be fine.

Here is one from the weekend. I held it for my buddy, because he cant even hold a sunfish, and I didnt want that big girl hitting the floor. 29in and he never fishes, pretty cool to get him a fish he will never forget
