HONORING ALL WHO SERVED

Thank you to all my fellow Veteran Brothers and Sisters. As for myself I served in the U.S. Army for twelve years as a Correctional Officer. GOD BLESS THE USA

It is the SOLDIER, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the SOLDIER, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the SOLDIER, not the campus organizers, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.

It is the SOLDIER, who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag,

Who allows the protester to burn the flag. AMEN.

6 years Army NG, toured in Iraq myself.

Good post brother, lets keep all serving overseas in our prayers, and remember those who gave so much! This is also a day of celebration, that our country is what it is, through the sacrifice of so many. We can also atribute the freedoms and opprotunities we get to hunt and fish and otherwise enjoy the outdoors in this beautiful country to the soldier as well.

Not only soldiers... But Airmen, Squids, Jarheads and Puddle Pirates allow us to live free.

Thank you for your service, livintofish. I did time in the US Army(regulars) and when I got out, was thinking of joining the USANG. Too old today. Thanks also to those who have served, wartime or peacetime, and those serving today
