Congrats to everone who was able to get out and hunt these great birds. It actaully was pretty close. Several teams were one nice bird away from first place. To those who won prizes please send me your mailing address at [email protected] . I'll be heading out of town so the prizes probably won't go out until the first week in July. Hotspotter
Thanks everyone for the great time! This year's contest was a success, due in large part to all of the hard work Borch has put into organizing such a fine event. Furthermore, he made some pretty good looking calls for prizes that I'm dying to get my hands on. Thanks for all the hard work Borch!I'd also like to thank Chris Walls, owner of Wall's Calls - http://www.wallscalls.com/ for his support of the contest. Chris not only makes calls that look good, his slates (I own two!) are the softest, most versatile, and most realistic pot/striker calls I've had the pleasure of using. As I continually work to rid myself of extra calls and accessories while turkey hunting, these calls rode in my vest all season long. Thanks Chris!!!Last but not least, thanks to all who participated. I learned quite a bit from our collective experiences, as every turkey hunt contains some nugget of turkey wisdom. Thanks for sharing.Joel
tealitup
Thank you for putting on a great contest. I guess the Turkey Trash Talkers need to eat some crow (when crow season starts).Well done for everyone who harvested a bird - congradulations! huntmup
Congradulations to Team 4 and everyone that scored a bird this season. Success should not always be measured in the harviest. It's what you learn from each hunt and what you can add to your bag of tricks for the next one. This was a lot of fun and I learned so much from everyone.(Thank you jnelson) Thank you CW and Borch for donating the calls. They look great. I guess I will have to contact CW Calls . To next season, happy hunting and straight shooting. Dan
bmc
Way to go my fellow teammates on Team 4. Thanks for picking my and Dietz "slack". LOL As I posted earlier, this was my first season after longbeards and I had an absolute BLAST!!! I'm an avid bowhunter and definitely had my chances this spring. I'm just glad that my calling was effective, especially being I don't have a mentor, except for all the guys here on the Turkey forum. I'm already looking forward to next spring!!!Brian
Wallydog
Congrats as well to everyone who entered regardless of whether you killed or not. Specially my fellow team mates. When the contest was first mentioned I simply thought it would be a entertaining way to compete against those in my (original) home state. I doubt that I'll ever have another chance to have a bird like mine respond and saunter in to my pleading calls. Good news is that his gentics are on and around the wonderful piece of private property that I have the exclusive priveledge to hunt. Now it's on to more bass tournaments. Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable summer.WD

I wish my bow would have been finished so I could have went out. Oh well, theres always next season if picked. For the ones that didnt harvest a bird, I'm sure it was a learning experience and there is always next season. Its just fun to get out into the outdoors. Thanks to all who helped put this on. Nice job.
