BLB...

I was in the boat with Perch Jerker on Mille Lacs Saturday evening and he said that you guys hit a rock in the river a little harder than anyone would want to. Hope everything is okay. We ended up getting the dollar fish in the Fall Frenzy get together up there when I netted a 27" eye for Perch.

That went 24" and 8lbs. J/K - I wish. No it was 20 1/8" long. No scale, maybe around 5lbs. Thanks for posting it BLB. Sweet pic though with the yellow on the leaves and the markings on said beast. Gotta love fall time

EBass, that is a hog. I couldn't see the photo at work but wow. Glad I checked back.

BLB - It was quite the adventure out there. I am glad Perch stayed out deep when we were under power. We were running 49-50 mph through a pretty decent chop out there at times. Wouldn't want to hit a rock with his boat. I was holding on tight with the white knuckles, never gone that fast in water like that before. I figured things out and had a great time out there though. Just have to absorb the bumps the right way and it turned out to be pretty comfy.

After seeing that photo, it makes me want to get out on the river after some hawgs though. I haven't had the opportunity to really fish smallies this year, but now looks like the time.

The one I just posted? or the first pic in the thread on page one? The one I just posted was my buddy, he got it on s 1/4 gumball white jig head and a 4inch power grub lol. The 20 incher I got on the first page of this thread was a jig head and 7.5in tequilla sunrise worm.

I wouldve believed you if you didnt say "J/k". cause that looks way bigger than 20 inches/5lbs.

Here's a pic from my last open water trip. A nice fat 4pound 12oz smallie taken on a crank in 4 FOW on 11/3/07. My partner and I boated 35 smallies, a few largies and a bonus walleye on cranks and tubes. Water temp was 44. What a nice way to end the season. Time to winterize the boat and start dreamin' about next year.

I'm jealous! Here's the only bass caught on my trip to Banks Lake (eastern Wa) last weekend:

Fortunately we did land some Ok walleye so my one lone bass wasn't all we caught. smile.gif
