Breech plug lube

I got some CVA breech plug stuff it's BLACK and is a mess to put on the breech but I use Q Tip to help spread it and WOW it is better then the stuff that came with my gun. I shot it at the range almost a dozen times and when I pulled the breech you couldn't tell I shot and it was just as easy pulling it as it was going in. Works good for me but I do have the speed breech so I don't know how it is for staying on the breech when screwing in the whole breech but it works great for me.

Side note I got some CVA Barrel Blaster. Worth the 11 dollars I paid for it. Take you gun to the bathtub spray it in the barrel when you see it come out the end (Breech Pulled) you pull the container out and let it sit for 1-24 hrs. GO one wet patch through with breech pulled to get rest of foam out. Wipe down the stock or barrel and you put the breech back in and you go a dry till it is dry and your done. I think I used 4 patches to clean my gun.

I use anti-seize grease, the ones you use for spark plugs on car. Every time out to the range, I fire at lease a pack of 50 sabots, bullets and a pack of 100 777 pellets. I have never had a breech plug coming out hard.

Go to your local car parts store and get a tube of anti-sieze. It is much cheaper than bore butter or anything a gun dealer tries to sell you and it works just as well if not better. It is a mess if you're not careful but it only takes a couple of little dabs.

If you shooting 777 the antiseize is the way to go. The other stuff just doesn't seem to work as well with the 777. For whatever reason the 777 has a tendancy to seize the plug up if you're not careful.

I use Wonderlube same stuff I use in the barrel for storage its never been a problem get the breech plug out. I tryed some wd40 once but the stuff seamed to get my powder wet from the solvent and wouldnt fire so I went to wonderlube and no problems.
