Deitz Dittrich
Part of the problem with a post like this.. is there are SO MANY BOATS.. this is the best I could come up with.. If I forgot your boat, please forgive me.What brand boat do you own?
AQUAJOE
Thanks Dietz that was getting out of control fast.
Paul Waldowski
Dietz,Thanks for taking care of this. I was just thinking that someone needed to put this up, as it was getting out of hand.
Slyster
YES thanks and good job Dietz! That was disturbing. NOW this will be informative and fun to see! I would say you should even delete that "Question for moderator" post altogether and lets see the results we get here now.. better data really. YOU DID GOOD! I see just about EVERY brand of boat I have ever heard of on the list! (Er... although.. I see a number of 'other' votes... if YOU voted for 'other'... please post what kind of boat you have!.. we would all be very curious!)
DTro
LOLI love how it was alphabetical for the majority of the list and then out of nowhere, random boats.....must have thought of some after the fact huh Deitz. This should be an interesting post, thanks! JohnMickish
I voted other because I currently don't have a boat and use the friends/neighbors boat. Does that count? Thanks Deitz.
lawdog
MNFISH, you mean OPB can work for "other people's boats"? I always thought that was just for everyones favorite brand, "other people's beer"...
SomethingFishy*
I voted other as we use a 1982 Sears Fiberglass.
eyepatrol
I too do not have a boat this year, but put a vote in for Crestliner since that's the brand of boat my dad has and I'll be fishing out of it this year. Otherwise, as said in the "other" post, we'll be getting either an Alumacraft, Lund, G3, Polar Kraft, Prince Craft or Sylvan boat. It's up in the air right now. By the way Deitz....that's a GREAT list for anyone who is considering a new boat and wants to research the various makes!!!
walleyeking#8
I see we have a tie between alumicraft and lund. Now which do I choose for my new boat? It will be a few more years before I will be able to trade my lund in for a new one. I hope to get the dream boat after the boys graduate.
Slyster
Suprising results! I didn't know that Lund and Alumacraft were so poplular! Nor Crestliner.. I thought boats such as Tritons would be on top.
Wayne Ek
good job Deitz. Maybe in all your spare time you could do one for favorite bass lure or walleye bait or ya I got it, favorite lake...
Deitz Dittrich
Wayne... there is NO WAY in H E double hockey sticks I am going to type in all 10,000 lakes.. LOL, this was hard enough for my little brain to do.
TSCTSC
Looks like Lund is still leading.
Northlander
LUND always leads.
FL SNIPER
I'm not real good with numbers...so am I wrong or are the percentages adding up way over a 100%? Shouldn't the percentages be based on the total number of votes? So out of 10 votes...4 lund, 4 alumacraft, 2 crestliner....would be 40% lund, 40% alumacraft, 20% crestliner? Is there something wrong with the calculations set up? Or maybe the percentages are telling us something different?
stmichael
I believe how it is set up that the bigger number to the left is how many people have voted and the smaller number to the right is the percentage of people, that number is 91% total, I am assuming that the boats listed that only have 1 vote do not compile enough percentage points to get noticed. Thus the 91% (that is as of this post). instead of the 100%
FL SNIPER
Oh...got it. My eyes were playing tricks on me. For whatever reason I was seeing a 4 digit percentage....didn't realize the first two numbers listed were the actual number of votes...and the last two were the percentage. Thanks for setting me straight....I told you I wasn't good with numbers!
lots of luck
I am in the "other" category. This will be my third season running the Cajun. The pictures are from when I brought it home from southern Michigan. It has been taken well care of and I have enjoyed it, but I believe it may be for sale at the end of this season or early next season. I have been working on the wife for some time on a new boat, she says probably, but my check book says think again. Year: 1988 Model: Entreprenuer Length: 17'-3" Engine: GM 4.3 L, V6, 175Hp, OMC Outdrive, 2BL Rochester Carb It is a one of a kind boat. Kind of fun being in something a little different. Plus it is a great family and fishing boat. Nice rear and front casting decks. Sparkly too!!!

Slyster
3 Tritons.. 20 Rangers... 90 Lunds..Crazy.. why is Lund so popular? Best "value" for the buck? Cheapest? Nicest? Very interesting to see the results.
