Jeremy airjer W
I'll be on Vermilion myself. Its a tradition that is still in its infancy, 6 years this year. Its kind of funny how you start to know the people in the boats that you see year after year without really knowing them. If I remeber right my avatar picture was taken the first year I went. At the time that was the nicest crappie I had caught. It hit a Rapala while trolling for walleyes.
ChuckN
I've been accused of following jerkin'm on opener, so this year I am actually going to do it.
dfv87
The pond. MIlle Lacs with 3 buddies and 2 of our dads. Just like when we were kids but now the kids are taking the DADS!
Captain B.R.K
I have made it a tradition to hit the St.Louis River for the last 5 years for opener. Now with gas prices somewhat high and a couple of buddies have plans to be NOT fishing that weekend( I can't believe it ), I think I'm going to try around the St.Cloud area. Maybe follow Borch or IceHawk around
Hoffer
Mississippi river north - no lines - no crowds - and if the walleyes wont bite - something else will. Then the next weekend will be the Ottertail area - grew up there - many great choices -

Benfishin
Hey Paul, Just a little joke. After thirty years on Mille Lacs I've come to appreciate the masses up by Malmo. For those of you thinking of fishing up there just make sure you get to the public access early or there may be quite the wait. Better yet support the resorts, save some time and use one of their accesses. Good luck fella's and we will see ya on the water!
riverrat56
Well I was planning on hitting the Minnesota River, but....I'll be going to a wedding friday, conformation practice on saterday and confirmation on sunday. That leaves me with some time to get out but only for a few hours here and there. Probally shore fishing on the river if nothing else.

SomethingFishy*
Realistcally I don't have the best boat to take anywhere for the long haul, probably hit some area lakes that hopefully won't be to crowded. Don't really like fishing eyes anyway. Can't wait to start chasing pike and bass for some CPR.How long is it till we can walk on water again? Let the Ice form. I was out doing a break in on my motor and went over some of the usual spring haunts, and the Lowrance lit up with arc's. Them fishes are there!!!! We still have one cabin available for the opener week!!!Doug

boatluvr
Up to the Arrowhead for camping and Walleye/Trout fishing. BWCA opener is killer every year. Nothing better then Trout for lunch, Walleye for dinner, Makers Mark for desert, and a campfire all night.
