Spray Bedliners

AF-1984

Question

I am in the market for a new bedliner and want to get some opinions on the bedliners out there. I know of Rhino Lining, Line-X, and Arma Coatings. Are there any others out there? If you have any of the above, what are your opinions on them? Also has anyone tried the "do it yourself" roll in liners? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have had a Line-X liner in my Dodge for six years now. It's a bit dirtier but still looks like the day it was sprayed. It looks to be a bit thicker that the other brands out there.

I have used the do-it-yourself brand "Herculiner" on my previous pickup as well as the one I own now. It works great. In my opinion, it's just as good if not better than what the companies can do. It takes about 1 full day to do the job right. Better yet, you can usually pick up the gallon kit at Menards or Fleet Farm when it's on sale for around $50. I would highly recommend going this route. It's not rocket science to figure it out, it's just your time.

I did the herculiner myself because I didnt want to spend the money on the big$$$ brands, its held up well and has taken alot of abuse.

To sum it up, if you have the money and are willing to spend it on the line-x, rhino, etc...do it. I dont think you can go wrong.

I just am a do it yourself kind of guy, saved alot of money. I think the key to the Herculiner is the prep work, getting the paint off etc. Then its just a matter of painting it on.

I went with Line-x on my turck and couldnt be happier. It was spendy (350.00) but its held up very well. Very tuff stuff..and so far its held its glossy black finish. My wife and I used the do-it-yourself brand (Fleet Farm) on her little Toyota pick-up. Its a pretty simple process..much like painting. The only bad thing I can say about it...is the fact it sun faded rather quickly...it looks more chalky rather then black. Just my two cents.

I had the Vortex Spray-in bedliner from Waldoch in my Ranger. I got a new GMC and I am getting Vortex again. I would say it is as good as Rhino, Line-x, etc. It took quite a beating in my Ranger. Rocks, augers, portables, chisles, etc. I don't know how I managed to do it but I dented the wheel well but the Vortex liner didn't chip, crack or anything. I would say it is a great product, pretty tough stuff. Waldoch did an excellent job on it too.

I had the Rhino Liner installed in my Ford F250. Nothing but positive things to say. For an additional charge they matched the color to the accent paint on the truck. It really turned out sharp and has held up well.

I just have one of those cheap rubber mats and am satisfied. Stuff does not slide around, you can remove it for a good spring cleaning and it's about $20.00 if I remember right.

I have the Rhino and am EXTREMELY happy. I toss tree stands (steel) in and out all year, and have yet to cut through that stuff.

I just bought a new dodge and it came with those plastic liners, I told the dealer straight out, I DONT WANT IT, so they are going to take it out and get Rhino sprayed in for me for a replacement.
