3/16 oz Stanley Rattlin' Flat Eye Platinum jig with the Zoom salty chunk trailer. Love the slow fall of the 3/16 oz jig!

#2 would be the Heddon Tiny Torpedo, it's got to be the funnest thing to watch!

I like finessing with a worm. Part of that is many times I am fishing with someone targeting other species and we are anchored. Plus, I know a Texas rigged worm can be fished anywhere and I can place the worm where I couldn't with another lure.

For plastics I would have to go with an Exude Red Shad Baby B-A-Hawg, an Exude Blue Pearl/Silver Comida, or an Exude all-white or Funky Chicken RT Slug.

The Comida can work wonders on negative river smallies, as well as for those dock-hugging largies. The Baby B-A-Hawg worked well for me last year on mid-structure bass will working a drift/slow retreive. The RT Slug is a great soft-plastic jerkbait that is fun to work over shallow wood and fallen trees.

And of course, slow-rolling an all-white spinner-bait can be fun on the largies.

But, nothing beats pitching top-water for bass in my opinion. Buzzbaits, Moss Bosses, Top Props... there's nothing like the explosion of a surface feeding largie! smile.gif

For enjoyment I love fishing bass with topwaters. Scum frogs, buzzbaits, chug bugs, and spooks would be my favorites. However I have caught the most and some of my biggest bass on soft plastics ussualy rigged texas style. My go to plastics are black Bass Assassin Craw with neon green claws, black Power Lizzard, Red Shad and June Bug Culprit. I have hundreds of brand/color combinations, but those are my go to colors I've been using for over 15 years.

Um just curious. What is a Spook?

Zara Spooks are topwater lures made by Heddon. You sort of pop them along the top of the water and if done correctly they alternate direction with every pull. I've caught some monsters with a spook. Its a great alternative to a Popper-type lure.
