#1 Reason for not being able to hit this ice yet this year!

At 5:10pm yesterday the little girl that I have dreamed of having for the past 6+ years since my grandmother passed away made her appearance into this world. Not knowing whether it was to be a boy or a girl (because of the way the baby was sitting during ultrasounds gender couldn't be known) the wife and I were quite surprised when the doctor said you have a girl. Mother is doing great. And in the words of my 6yr old we won't have to put her back. Thus he and I are going to be heading to the cabin today to gather all the fishing gear and bring it to the cities so we can get out. Here are the stats. 6lbs 15oz. 20.5" long. From start of labor yesterday to birth a total of 2hrs 17minutes. I guess God payed a huge part in this as with the way the weather had been and now the latest cold snap will allow me and the kids to get out. I will more then likely be minus internet connection until I return to work at the end of the month so maybe I'll see people out on the lakes. Really looking forward to Cool Cats!!!!!!!!

Been told I will get out now. Since I have 3 boys to take out and get out of mom's hair. Looking forward to Cool Cats. My boys love seeing everyone and pulling in some kitties.
