I got the rig out on Superior yesterday. Wanted to test everything out, make sure its all working for the Rainy trip in two weeks. You wondered what kind of speed I get? With me, full tank of gas, 3 bat's and my dog, it topped out at just over 38mph. Much better than the 25mph of my last rig (of course it only had a 25hp on it.) Felt good to be on the water again.

NOT BAD for a freebie 14' rowboat... eh?

Was a rusty old thing.. (well.. aluminum doesn't rust!

was in horrible shape anyway) until last summer when I added the

carpeted deck, seats, new motors, and electronics,

and this spring (not shown in these pictures) I totally repainted

the boat.. and got new lights, wheels, and bearings

on the trailer and added a bait box locker under the 2nd bench!

Put a lot of work into this old 'piece of junk'... now it really is a

great fishing boat! I thank the Lord for this little thing.

Got a little boat like that for our cabin and would like to put a deck like that in it. Did youo just put it over the top of the benches? Great job with the boat!

I also would be interested in some info, I would love to fix up the 82' sears fiberglass tri-hull that I had donated, motor is in excellent condition, would love to paint the boat and put a new carpeted deck in.

I'd recommend you go elsewhere if you're looking for "good service". Maybe I should have waited and bought the '06 model... it's got a few more additions on it. Best thing about it is all the storage space, don't think I'll ever fill it up!
