I have had my new rig home for a little over two weeks now and have been on lakes close to home, but this weekend was the first out of town trip with it and the first pictures of it outside of the dealer.

I have a 16 1/2 foot Navigator and your boat, with the 2 walker downriggers and rod holders, looks like me on a day trolling Lake Superior. Are those manual or electric riggers? I use the manual and after a day of pulling 12 pounders up, my forearms look like Popeye.

PikeBay,

I think my new boat will be perfect for some of the golf course ponds I fish in Iowa. I figure if I just park in the middle I could pretty much cast to the entire shore line. I just hope I don't rip up too much turf backing the boat in off the #3 green !?! wink.gif

SL,

They are the Walker tournament speed riggers. I had manual riggers for the last 15 years up to last year and went with these. I can fully appreciate felling like Popeye after a day of cranking on them. These electrics have a retrieve rate on them is an outstanding 300 foot a min with a 16lb ball. Almost need a catchers mit when they come up. Thank goodness for the auto stops.

Here is my 1996 Skeeter XZ180 with 150HP Yamaha Pro-V. It's in great shape for a 11 year old boat and I still get lots of compliments when I'm at public ramps. I paid under $15K when I bought it in 1998, and it probably hasn't lost too much of it's value since then. It runs right around 60mph GPS speed loaded up, so I do get passed at a few of the local club tourneys. It still seems to bring in a livewell full of fish, it is not the type of boat I would be afraid to get into the thick stuff unlike some of the new 50K rigs.

I should also mention that if anyone likes their carpet to look somewhat clean, do your best to avoid blue colored carpet.
