I got a $3,000 diamond wedding band and a bunch of cloths.

I gave my wife a Python alarm/remote start for her diesel Excursion and a Vexilar Ice Armor jacket (small logo on front large logo on back) and a Vexilar beany hat. She was expecting the Python and really liked the Vexilar stuff, now we've got matching jackets! I even picked her father up one for Christmas, a 5X!!!

This year I think I love you girl friend just a little bit more. I got nothing big but she got me a camo hat that hat is like an Indaina (SP) Jones type of hat. A nice camo shirt and a shirt with a deer on it saying "vegetarian: old indian word for bad hunter". and some gloves. I really didnt care but she does have a job (shes 15 I am 17) so I knew it was not going to be big.

Let's see... the buying for myself and telling my wife it was from her for Christmas started back in October with the LX-3. (Well, maybe she didn't really know the real price, but...) Then came the Otter Cabin, Mr Heater Cooker, and assorted gadgets to make the cabin homey. The LX-3 tc upgrade came in November. On Friday the knob on the Mora hand auger that has served me faithfully since 1977 finally conked out for good, so it was off to the local dealer for some Christmas Eve cheer and try to find a replacement and wound up with a new Lazer hand auger (Thanks for the great holiday deal, boys!), then under the tree were lots of new jigs and a new thermal tip-up. Gosh, I am blessed. I might just have to take her out tonight... if we can find some bait. Merry Christmas, FMers!

Christmas was good for my son about to turn 5.. an entire mountain of wrapped gadgets he really doesnt need, but he will enjoy them anyway.

Me.. I got all I need for christmas.. A couple bags of lively minnows in the back of the truck and I am going fishing! I can still appreciate the simple things in life.. a happy kid and an ample supply of bait. What else does a person need?

Santa was very good to me! I must have done something right? Santa brought me something I have wanted for years....a pet mud turtle! "No, no, just kidding!"

Among other things, I got a half dozen new Muskie plugs, Jake Baits, Northland Spinner, In line spinner, surface baits, shallow diver, etc. I also got a book titled MUSKIE! maps and strategies, by Russ Warye...I have only got into it a little bit so far, but I think it's gonna be a good one.

And just to cheer me up, in case my muskie book doesn't work and I don't catch any, my sister gave me another hardcover book, THE FAR SIDE...GALLERY 3, by Gary Larson. Lots of good cartoons!

I guess I better quit writing and go fiddle around with those plugs, until I get a hook in my finger then I'll read the cartoon book and cuss!

Kc sounds like you hooked a good girl. She's already broken in right. My wife comes from a hunting, fishing and trapping family, and never gives me a hard time when I say I'm heading out. She gets it maybe doesn't like it, but gets it. By the way best present for me was watching my 12 year old son open his new 20 gauge. But funny how the new nerf basketball hoop gets all the action, I can still dunk over him.
