Can you beat Charlie Moore?

For those that dont watch the show. Basically this guy accepts challenges from people for 5000.00. He fishes on challengers lake and hes undefeated so far. Anyone here think they have a good chance of winning if they challenged him?

As I understand it, you are competing for Charlie's money. You just make the challenge. Some of the nonfishing competition is pretty funny. It is on ESPN2 at 8:30 am every Saturday. The youngest daughter and I like to watch ESPN2 every Saturday that we can't get out fishing. If we are gone, she wants me to tape certain shows.

I would love to beat Charlie Moore with a stick. The show is bad and he is more than anoying. He is from Boston and has that whole Boston attitude that I cant stand. No offence to any of you that may be from Boston.

I've watched it too many times during the off season months. He is the "bully" obnoxious type. You can bet off camera he belittles his "guests". Especially the chubby guy from Georgia. You could tell he didn't like him at all. Loud, opiniated people are usually the ones who end up on the TV or Radio. Oh well, it's a fishing show, it beats watching Hockey

I can personally guarentee that he would not touch me on my home lake. In fact I am trying to get on the show to show evryone that minnesota anglers are some of the best in the US. Moore doesnt have a chance.

I don't think you have to put up your own $5000, do you? I was under the impression that if you won, you got his $5000, and if he won, well, he won. Maybe I'm wrong. I'd like to see a MN edition, though!

He came down pretty hard on a guy for wanting to buy his wife a new minivan if he won the money. I would love to see a woman take him down. I think that would wound his pride more than a kid even. Last episode I watched, he was still undefeated after 7 challenges.

I moved from MI to NH a few years ago and although I don't know Charlie but every thing you hear about him out here is positive. He does a lot to get kids fishing and helps out in many different ways. Now having said that I CAN'T STAND HIS PROGRAM. Even if you won big bucks I wouldn't be able to stand a full days fishing with him! $5 big ones is not enough to get me in a boat with him for a day.
