Here is a Smallmouth I caught while fishing on Lake Sharpe South Dakota. I caught this fish on a 1/8 oz jighead tipped with a Berkley 3" Gulp Minnow.

eyeguy, were on the river are you at? I have done good from monti to elk river. I see the river is flowing high, we need some dry weather to drop the levels. what kind of boat is that?

My boat is a 16 foot ficher jon with a 20 hp mercury jet. The boat in the picture is fonz58's new Lowpro. Awesome boat! I fish from monticello to the blanchard dam. see you on the water!

Here's a 19 3/4 incher from opening weekend. Kinda blurry. Really nice dark colors on this one. Smallies sure do have lots of different colors.

Most of the fish were picked up from jigging in 6-10 feet of water. The rest were taken on cranks. All fish were CPR'd

Here's one from my recent trip to Burntside, Vermillion area. 10 days fishing, Caught many fish but my camera broke the first day so this is the only pic I got! My biggest Smallies were around 3lbs. but I got a couple of 5lb. Largemouth. My buddy who took this pic (thanks Casaloma) did about the same. Most of the fish were on Senkos, but some came on Tubes, Spinnerbaits, Topwater, Cranks, Etc... Good fun!

Here's a nice smallie I got over the 4th. Didn't measure for the sake of a quick release, but would guess it was around 17 inches.

I had a good day today on a mine pit lake near here. I caught 7 or 8 smallies all in the 16-18.5" range. A smoke colored Git Zit tube jig was the ticket up against the shorelines. I also lost a piggie largie, I'd guess in the 4-5lb range. Here's the 18.5".
