I had nothing against the SEC until ESPN, along with their partnership with the SEC, started to shove the SEC down our throats with their over coverage and self promotion of the conference. Alabama had a nice team this year they just got beat by Ohio State.

This is when it got really bad. I heard an ESPn broadcaster say "Michigan State has been doing so well because they play like an SEC team." No, you couldn't be more wrong. The Spartans play about as traditional of Big Ten football as there is, they do nothing of the sort.

What would you say is the difference between a traditional Big 10 style and SEC style?

Not to mention the near complete lack of academic standards

Never let facts get in the way of your butthurt for the SEC.

So that may explain the response of a member of the Vikings that went to a certain SEC conference school when asked about fan mail. His response stated that he gets a kick out of people sending him handwritten letters because he can't read cursive, " I speak English man!" was his response.

If it makes you feel better to think that the only way a college could possibly have a better football program than Minnesota is because they are all a bunch of dumb, toothless, backwoods, rednecks who cheat, then by all means don't worry about facts.

Joking aside, y'all need to go down check out some of the girls on the Auburn campus... or check out some of the cart gals they have on the RTJ golf courses down there...

They are not ugly. Not one bit.

Now for the tide gals, yeah. They're ugly, but mostly just on the inside. The outsides still look purdy - not that I'd admit it to any of their faces... Hot chick in a 'bama shirt is an auto reduction of 8 pts on the 10 pts scale of looks.

Congratulations, Buckeyes!!! You've discredited Alabama's glass trophies; proven the need to open the championship up to competition rather than an appointment game and shown the foible of using rankings rather than competition to arrive at a national finals game. And to think...by the ranking criteria, you "shouldn't" have even been in the top four. I think there may be some changes in some of the HS senior prep stars' college plans???

How do you figure Alabama shouldn't have been in the top 4? If anyone it was Oregon and Florida state that didn't belong.

Gotta love this, so Alabama deserved to be in consideration over the undefeated FSU? Pretty much supporting the whole playoff then right? Prior years Ohio State wouldnt have been in the championship game and it would have been gifted to either FSU or Alabama. Now they have a playoff and you dont believe the team with the best record doesnt even deserve to be in the playoff?

You cannot have it both ways BigDave. You either live by the record and how the committee votes or agree with the playoff system.
