Teddy Bridgewater

I'd say Teddy had a good game but only in that he did what he should have done.  He made maybe 1 or 2 very good throws (1st TD to Diggs) and the rest where the type of quick hitting throws that he's done all year.  Normally they are nice gains and keep the chains moving but this time they just happened to go for touchdowns.

I'm not going to rip on Teddy for taking what he was given and in turn putting up 4 passing a 1 running TD.  He took full advantage of everything he was given.  However, I don't think we saw anything really new and I don't think we saw Teddy take any big steps forward yesterday.

Exactly this^^^^^^^^^^^^

I don't think anyone wants him to do more in a game. What we want is more games like this rather than 13 of 18 for 120, 1 TD and 1 INT.

Exactly.

I don't expect Teddy to score 5 TD's every week but I'd like to see him consistently hitting receivers in stride, making quick decisions without holding on to the ball, and making the occasional tough throw.  Over the last 2 weeks he's done this for the most part except for holding on to the ball a little too long against the Cards.

I think he's fully capable of doing all of these things and if he does he'll be a very good QB.  He just has to prove he can do week in and week out.

Right now I'd have to say my feelings on Teddy are hopeful but with a bit of caution. I don't see any reason he can't by the QB of the future but he's not there yet.

Even the annoucers said that TD in the corner of the end zone was something special.

Yet it is something the top qb's do every week. It doesn't hurt that we at least have 1 receiver now that has the ability and the desire to make a play like that too. I agree nofish we just need to see some consistency which shouldn't be a problem against the Giants defense this coming weekend.
