20.5" smallie on Mille Lacs, 2002 on white tube.

22" (I thinking 22" guessing on that)Largemouth Minnetonka 2001 I could put my fist in it's mouth. Around 6lbs I belive, no scale and it swallowed the lizard. Had it out of the water too long to measure it. Got the hook out and put her back ASAP.

(tip on getting a deep hook out of a bass.) Cut the line and give about a foot or so of line above the hook. Take the cut line and feed it through the gills while in the mouth. Pull on the line which makes the hook turn upside down. Now take pliers (while buddy hold on line) and give her a yank. Saved plenty of bass this way) I hope I made sense!

1 @ 9.5 pounds, 1 @ 10.2pounds. Both largemouths, both from the same fallen tree, both within 5 minutes of each other, both on a 7 inch purple and black riverside worm rigged texas style. Location, back home in TN. Sorry.

24.5", wow that has to be getting close to the record. Unless it was skinny that has to be up in the 8 lb.+ range I would guess. Do you have the photo scanned in that you can post or email to me and I can post it... I'd love to see it.

It was for sure the biggest bass I have ever caught in this state. I will see what I can do about getting it scanned and posting it. It is a legitimate length, one of the photos has a tape streched out under her. I estimated it at 7-7.5#.

8-0 (officially weighed in hours later at 7.94#). Sorry, but it is on the wall. The only bass I intentionly killed. (Only a beer's weight from the record.)

10/25/96 I'll always remember it, because I called my mom that night to tell her about it. Mom passed away the next morning so the bass story was my last conversation with her. I think of mom everytime I see the bass on the wall...

I am not worthy!!!!

Wow, reading these posts brings me back to reality. My biggest Largie, I think, is a measley 21 3/4". I am going to have to search my log book for the data.
I better get back to the books, and figure out what I am doing wrong.

Actually Biglakeba$$, I think the reality is that a bass over 23" is very rare in this state. I was shocked when I saw my 23" bass come to the surface. I just remember the extra large eyes & mouth. In 25 years of fishing the metro, that's my 1st & only bass over 22". Not sure if I'll ever catch one that big again. It would be fun to see some pictures of all these monster bass. Vern
