Saw this on TV this am. It's based similarily on the poke method using the bladder at top of egg. Kind of a slap in the face to us egg pokers. I didn't listen close enough or watch long enough to find out if you get "free" steak knves if you "call now."

I almost bought it the first time I saw the infomercial but I was able to hold myself back somehow. From what I have seen online the reviews are not good.

Saved up for a week a year ago and bought one of these. Pretty spendy but wow does it do the job!

Even if the egg thing worked great we don't need any more devices in our kitchen and you also have to clean it. Tack takes up less space and easier to clean.

the "junk drawer". Had one when I was a kid at our house and have one now. It's like the old Perkins "Wishing Well" with all the treasures in it. It's usually the drawer that won't open because the junk is over flowing to where one of the 6 calculators or 3 rulers jamb it. I've found that just shaking it usually rearranges things so it will open enough to find what I need. Then I just jamb it back closed, why would you throw anything out?

I will forever be an egg poker after tonight. Out of 18 I boiled, 15 made it... the other 3 would've, but somehow ended up in my mouth after perfectly peeling them...

...and you waste it poking eggs for no reason whatsoever just so you can say "I poke eggs" and make everyone ask why.

smoked 40 last thursday. Hardly anyone asks why shells are poked anymore before boiling. Most know a good thing when they see it and accept it. Some just like to argue and cant accept change for the good.
