According to CBSSports.com

One report from Wednesday theorized that Zimmer would like to hire Browns offensive coordinator Norv Turner as his offensive coordinator in Minnesota, while another report posited that Scott Linehan would be a candidate. La Canfora writes, meanwhile, that Zimmer could go after Mike Mularkey for a role on the offensive staff.

Seems like he is aiming high for his surrounding staff.

Really like the move. Players like him but at the same time, if he needs to step on their neck and light a fire, he certainly will. Sounds as if he will bring in some quality coordinators with experience, unlike Frasier did. Hopefully someone on the O side of the ball to develop a young QB. Could be a bright future in a couple of years for the purple.

Yep, I've also heard 3-4 different OC's names he might bring in.

Couple different DC's names floating around too.

I'm glad to have a guy with some fire and authority. Should be fun for us Vikes fans to have a total new look on both sides of the ball.

WHAT??? We aren't going to keep Bill Musgrave???

How are we possibly going to learn four new play by next year??????????

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Vikings have received permission to interview in limbo Browns OC Norv Turner for the same position in Minnesota.

Neither Norval nor DC Ray Horton have formally been relieved of their duties in Cleveland, but the wayward franchise has allowed them to interview for jobs as their quixotic coaching search rolls on. Turner had grown stale by the end of his time in San Diego, but produced more points than should have been expected in Cleveland considering his lack of a viable quarterback or running back. He'd be a strong addition to new coach Mike Zimmer's staff, and a welcome hire for Adrian Peterson. Turner has coached five rushing champs during his career.

Honestly I was hoping for a coach more from the offensive side of the ball, but I think if he brings in the right OC we will be good.

You guys who wanted an offensive minded HC do realize our defense was almost dead last in the NFL and came within a point or two of giving up the most points in Viking history.

8 wins won the division this year...had our defense not been historically bad we probably win the division.

Zimmer is exactly what this team needs right now....

Shhhhhhhhh don't jinx us, one of the options being reported is they might keep Musgrave, that will probably change though after Zimmer watches film of our same half dozen plays we did over and over all season lol.
