Was just taking a look at the wind forecast for tomorrow. It is basically going to go from dead calm in early evening to 30mph in a few hours. It might catch a few folks by surprise.

I was worried about my first fish house freezing in so I blocked it up good just before a big storm was supposed to hit. Instead of snow we got super high winds. My fish house started out as an 8x12 when the wind was done tumbling it the biggest piece was a chunk of plywood 4x4.

A few years ago we were on lotw and had set up an Eskimo flipmo outside our sleeper to use as a [PoorWordUsage]. Big wind came up and night And Found it a half hour later a quarter mile away in shambles

It was so nice out this morning then there was a 5mph wind about ten minutes later it was about 30mph with 40mph gusts and light snow. Sure ruined a beautiful day.

It got a little nuts after 7:30, my buddy's Otter lodge tried to take flight when he got out of it

by 8 the wind was epic, thought I saw Dorothy and Toto fly past when we were packing up

Ottertail somewhere between 1989-1991 Someone picked up my auger and as much of my rods and tackle. He then looked through all the debris and found my name, called and returned what ever he could find.

Good lord. Coming off the lake today was a small adventure. Then, trying to get home was a big adventure.

Uffda! Just got off the lake as well. Yep, she's ablowin.......and ran into some sort of sleet/rainy type stuff on the way home. Some people who thought it was a good idea to still drive 75 will get home a little later. Going to pass on the fishing the next few days.......

I wasn't on Shetek. I was a bit closer to home. I have the next couple of days off so I'm thinking aboot ploping my shack on Shetek and living in it for a day or 2.

I can't give a report as I wasn't out there.

When this post first came up, I was out.. looking for a nice sheltered bay for my portable found one but it was still bad.

This time, I have nice warm wheelhouse parked on a multispecies spot... let the wind blow will post pics from tomorrow
