It'll be an interesting game on Sunday. Tolzien shows more presence in the pocket than Ponder but Ponder isn't throwing picks like Tolzien. Both teams have injury-riddled defenses and good running games, although AP obviously is the much better back.

No Vikings fans wanted to come watch the October game. More of my buddies are willing to watch this weekend's game. I'm just happy that it'll be competitive.

Looks like the Packs starting defense is mostly active and playing today.

So no injury excuses for them today.

Will be interesting to see how they do against a weak Vikings offense.

Ya no injuries... Casey Heyward starting safety just go put on IR, Mica Hyde corner just added to injury report. That's just the past two days. With all their injuries, if the Vikes can't win this or at least keep it clise, they're a bigger pile of steaming t.u.r.d.s than anyone even thought!

OMG

Now you're whining because second and third stringers are hurt. LOL laugh

Just face it, the Fudge can't even beat the Vikes IN Green Bay without Rodgers....now that's what I call pitiful!!! The coaching by McCarthy was not so good either.

Funny how a QB makes everything else on a team look better than they really are.

I forgot Sam Shields was out too... Starting corner, Heyward is our starting safety, Jolly was out also... So not all were injured second and third string...

Flynn proved we could've won with a mediocre QB had they put him in earlier, but without a D, a QB is meaningless. And let's be honest, the Packers D is horrid, the fairy Queens even had a shot to steal another win. I can be honest about my assessment of the Packers, you should quit drinking the Koolaid Rick, the vikes are probably theeee worst team in the NFL... They had all they could handle with a team with double digit starters on IR, and another handful injured and out.

Even with everyone healthy, we are not a SB team. No D... Can't make it through the playoffs without one...

Good Luck!

Double digit "starters" on IR?

As if the vikings don't have anyone injured either. Both teams have tons of key players out. The Vikings secondary has been decimated all season. Peterson has had nagging injuries all year as well.

If they would have just gone with a heavy dose of Gerhardt we would be talking about a vikings win.

I still think that they can

Nice, gotta love the faith!! What is your guy's record now without Rodge? He gave it all away with that mustache.

Labs give it up, the Vikes have a bunch of injuries also right along with every NFL team. When you have the Mustache Rider and have injuries you guys are on here saying how deep your team is and can't believe how good the drafting and coaching is to still win with injury.

Hey,

I have never came on here and said how good of a coach McCarthy is... In fact I think he is average at best.

yep the Vikes have injuries too, and you can see it in their secondary. You have to admit the Packers have more as a team... does it make a difference? sure it does. I am not a kool-aid drinker. The Packers with Rogers and their starting D is a North Div champion, but would get knocked out in playoffs, the Packers without Rogers and their starting D is probably a Wildcard team... the team without Rogers and with mostly back-up players in D is the Vikings. Proven out yesterday.

I have said the past couple of years that Ted Thompson is ignoring the D and it will bite him in the butt. He cannot draft his way out of a pi$$ poor secondary. Losing Woodson to injuries for most of 2 years and then to free agency has killed what little secondary they had, just like losing Winfield hurt the Vikes. They have to do what they hate to do, go out and sign a stud corner and a stud safety... otherwise it will be the same ol, same ol. Use the 8 mil they offered that absolutely worthless gob of goo Raji. You will also have the 7 mil from Finley back to use... without a D, this team will slide deeper and deeper into the cess pool the North is becoming! The Bears D is decimated too and they cant win... and the Lions still have Schwartz pretending to be a coach. laugh

Good Luck!

(The Nose Pickers)"with double digit starters on IR, and another handful injured and out." (and various other boo boos)

Hey,

I am not a kool-aid drinker.

OK Ken, who's really drinking the yellow kool-aid here....The Packers without Rogers and their starting D is probably a Wildcard team LOL laugh

Talk about whining about injuries....you Packer fans take the cake. Every year we hear it...Wah Wahhh Wahhhh. frown

LOL.....

They're without a doubt one of the worst teams in the NFL when they get their boo-boos, it happens year after year, and at best a below average team without their Rodgeness. All hail to Rodgers and hope he stays healthy.

Honestly there isn't a team from the NFC north that is worthy of a playoff spot. Vikes, garbage. Packers w/o ARodge are terrible. Bears D is utterly pathetic. Lions seem to be the best, but we are talking about the Lions here.

A tie for the pack helps nothing. For the Vikes, it may yet affect our draft pick.

So much for all the talk at the beginning of the season about how strong this division is.
Great point. It's been an odd year for a lot of teams. There is a lot of parity in the league and many .500 and sub-.500 teams are still in the wildcard hunt. Four teams only have 2 wins and every other team is above that threshold, which is quite amazing to not have any one-win teams still at this point.

Lions have been the biggest disappointment for sure because of their relative health and weakness in the division. The Bears have stumbled but have been dealing with their injuries. Their backup QB has been pretty good but it's hard to replace Tillman, Briggs, and Melton on defense.

The Lions really have no excuse this year with the talent they have on that team on both sides of the ball

They have an excuse... Schwartz!

Rick,

C'mon man, I was trying to show you logically why the Packers are in the state they are... it ain't soley because Rogers is hurt. I'm far from a kool-aide drinker, and never wore green and gold sunglasses. I can rip on my team with the best of the Viking fans. McCarthy was an silly-me for trying for two... take the PAT and move on. They would have beat the Vikes yesterday had he not outcoached himself. Well that's assuming there would have been more than a minute left so he wouldnt have time to call his finely tuned Prevent (you from winning) defense.

Maybe you should take off the purple and gold beads, wash the goofy paint off your face and throw the Viking Zubas in the wash (or garbage) and drink a big glassful of reality! laugh hehehehe! I get it though... when the team you want to love blows as bad as they do (oh and they do), the only thing left to make ya feel good is to kick your biggest competitor in the ribs when they are finally down on the ground... We'll square up again next year. Ponder will still be your starter! SPielman will be GM and you'll still be bottom of the North...

Good Luck!

Ken

Good luck finding all these "stud" players considering so much money is wrapped up in one player. Vikings learned that with Allen.

The way Flynn player yesterday you guys should cut Rodgers and go with him. The vikes could use a starting qb.

I just showed you 15 million to use for FAs. 8 million from Raji, please let him go... nothing more than an oxygen thief (he turned down the offer, the Packers should rescind it immediately) and the 7 million they spent on Finnley this year. Lots of cap space without these two.

There goes that argument... But then again the Packers dont sign players let go mid-season for 3 million and refuse to even dress them. But dont worry Rogers will start for you in 2020 for his last season in the NFL

Good Luck!

Ken

you say that the Vikings have just as many injuries this year....
Liar Liar....I never said that. Skunked you definitely show either your ignorance or lying nature when you post things like that.

I may have said something to the effect that the Pack has the injuries every year and you whine about it and in my opinion it's how they are coached....You have to admit McCarthy does suck without Rodgers.

I also said you Packer fans whine about your Packer boo boos every year and after looking at your post above Skunked you appear to be an expert at whining. wink

Don't let juice get a hold of this thread because the guys above already are starting on the Packs need to draft a MLB...maybe even trade Rodgers for a stud MLB, yeah, that will work laugh
